The notes by the author gives great perspective.

I don't have children, but I enjoyed the expenation and insight in the last chapter. I never considered how a male centered culture impacts the perceptions of children. I think the fable's are well adapted to today, as an update to very old wisdom. I admit, I enjoyed the author's notes, as the presented info i didn't know. very cool idea. Thank you for sharing you're knowledge.

Loved the stories

So good to listen to the older stories with a little revision. Natalie Portman has a lovely voice. Would love to hear it spoken slower for the young ones, but it was refreshing to hear. Thank you for the stories.

Fables

I loved hearing the traditional fables with a new concept. Teaching children about all at a very young age is a wonderful thing to do. Bravo Natalie.

A beautiful thing

This audiobook was an absolute delight. Natalie's narration was excellent, the music was great, and the stories were as familiar and instructive as ever. My son and I truly enjoyed them. I do not think it was an accident that the woman who is about to embody a role only played by men (Thor) is adding this wonderful book to the world. Natalie, you are WORTHY!! I truly hope there are more volumes to come. Aesop has a LOT of fables. I'm just saying...
