Publisher's summary

Have you ever wondered about the Aztecs, the Inca, the Inuit, or the Polynesians, and their beliefs?

Did they have myths like the ancient Greek civilization?

Were there spirits, gods, or supernatural creatures they believed in?

These are the topics of this elaborate guide. The false notions about these peoples will be outlined and debunked. The confusion will be done away with, as you listen to these explanations about how all these stories all fit together.

Many of us don’t know much about mythological stories from these regions, and it is my pleasure and privilege to educate you on the intricate details that lie within them. That’s why I have also provided some fascinating facts and historical background about each of these peoples. Creation myths, legacies, the sacrificing of children, the empires, and their wars are all mentioned and touched on in this book.

So, go ahead and sit back in a comfortable chair, relax, and listen to the peculiar, occult, or sometimes even gruesome and dark, controversial legends from these American and Oceanic areas.

Very good

This is a very good book. I liked the Inca mythology the best. Second: Aztec. Yes, I'm into Native American myths. So this was not a bad purchase.

Excellent

This is excellent. I was listening to this, and all I could do, was smile. No, just kidding. It didn't go that far. But I liked it. And that's just something I wanted to say here in a few words.

Interesting

The narrator must have spent a lot of time on producing this audio book. It appears as if we are dealing with a professional here. The narrator's performance was to die for. The thoughts from the author made a lot of sense to me. I agreed with all the things, and that's one other reason that I am so excited about this audiobook. The writer did not arbitrarily pick bits and pieces of bad advice, but rather, sorted out the statements enough.

Definitely good

The big difference between this and other audio books, is really that this is a lot better. I encourage you (or perhaps everybody who reads this) to get this audio book. I liked it. I guess the first several sections were my favorite ones, because the entire idea that the title talks about, gets discussed. All the fundamentals are there. Later in the book, more depth gets added, and I think this is what makes it so great.

Great stuff

Great book. I liked it. Interesting things about the Polynesian stories. I liked Moana anyway. So this just extended the narrative of the islands' folklore, as well as changed the seriousness.

Good job

I had an interest in this particular idea, so I picked up this book. In my point of view, it was pretty perfect. There might just have been a few hardly detectable mistakes in there, but they did not bother me. When you are able to listen to a narrator who is that great, and about a topic that you're interested in, you do not care about the rest. That's the end of the story. Despite of the author's understanding about the subject, the narrator was still the aspect I was most impressed with. This is what actually offered me on the book.
