Heartwarming Story

Chris Brinkley is a wonderful narrator. But he is also a great story teller. I've loved both of his currently released books. This one is unique in that it deals with a married couple. It was refreshing to see beyond the initial happily ever after and that marriage isn't always perfect and requires work and attention. I actually choked up several times while listening. I am so excited for this series to continue.

He had to reevaluate his life for love

I really enjoyed listening to this story. The way he had to reevaluate his life and decide he wanted to fight for his relationship with his wife was very heartwarming!

Captivated and Loved it!!

Goodness! This book grabbed my attention from the get go. Thomas is the guy at the beginning of a story you just want to smack in the face and yell “PAY ATTENTION!!!” But… he redeemed himself, and I loved every bit of it.

Chris Brinkley not only wrote this, but performed it. He brought the character, Thomas, to life in such a way you couldn’t help but sympathize with, and root for his journey. You can feel the anger and frustration, and general perplexity Thomas felt, and the joy of walking down memory lane.

This audiobook definitely shed light on the male perspective of marriage. I’m absolutely loving this series- and the next book sounds fantastic!

Tug on your heartstrings and make you believe in love

I am loving this journal entry style of writing. They Thomas discusses and work through his troubling marriage is heartfelt and beautiful.

A revitalized marriage story

This was a story of a man who had to rethink his choices because he was faced by the crumbling status of his marriage.

I loved the flashbacks to when Thomas and his wife were young. The journey he had to take to realize what needed to be done to fix his marriage was beautiful.
