Publisher's summary

My anger has reached an all consuming slam him against the wall and punish with my mouth level of hostility. Thank God the feeling is mutual.

The straight-ish hot football coach is off limits. Detective Liam Mason is fine with that, until their arguing and fighting turns to kissing, and Liam can’t get enough.

Coach Trace Powers is the key to their undercover investigation, and Liam’s new orders are to do whatever it takes to get close.

But pretending to be a professor and Trace’s fake-boyfriend, even if it’s just for the benefit of his staff, seems especially reckless when Liam uncovers an illegal operation happening off the field.

And realizes his feelings for the football coach are very real.

Trace is in danger, and Liam will risk everything to save him.

My (Not So) Bossy Professor is the fourth audiobook in the Not So University series. It is a 99,000+ enemies-to-lovers m/m romance with an HEA. It can be listened to as a standalone, but is best listened to as part of the series. It features two muscled men fighting for dominance, a fake-boyfriend situation, tequila nights involving stupid party games, a bossy assistant coach named Becky who says whatever she wants, and an irritating techie who says whatever he can to stir things up.

My favorite one!

This one tied up a lot of loose ends and surprised the heck out of me in some aspects! I enjoyed all the characters in the series but these two were grumpy and grumpier and I loved their interactions.

Twisted mystery within

The push and pull between Liam and Trace had me totally wound up!! The mystery in this story had me accusing the wrong person from the get go to the end. I love being wrong, because it makes the reveal sweeter. Misunderstandings abound between Liam and Trace. Will they get things straight before one walks away for good??
The last chapter was a sizzler!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

A new mystery at the university!

Well, no one can say university life is boring, especially not this one! With an undercover cop pretending to be a professor to bring down a potential trafficking ring, and the hot football coach who loves to confront him, rile him up, and get in his face. They love to hate each other, until the hate part just goes away!

Another great one!

I think this book in the professor series might have been the one I liked the most yet ! The mystery was good and the back and forth between Trace and Liam was so fun to listen to !

A little bit of everything I love in a book!

I just finished Debra K. Sutton’s My (Not So) Bossy Professor, book 4 in the My (Not So) University series. Each book has been a treat, but I think this one is my favorite! A mystery, a love story, some intrigue and some mutual healing. I like the trail of continuing information from previous books - but not so much that you’d have to read the previous books to make sense of it all. I also ”think” I saw the beginning of book 5?? Let’s hope!!

If you haven’t read this series or book, I’d encourage you to add it to your tbr!

My favorite

Book review:
When we got a hint of Liam and Trace at the end of the last book, I was sooooo excited. And then knowing this book was coming out, I was impatient as I waited. But it was all worth the wait. I think this is my favorite of the series. I love the hate-love these two have and the so much tension they create for each other. Then add in a mystery - which I totally guessed wrong on. This was such a great story, and I will re-read this series again. It was a great ride.

Narration:
I loved this book so much I really wanted to listen to it. Liam and Trace are hands down my favorite couple and Kevin Earlywine does a great job of bringing them to life. I've enjoyed listening to this series and this one will hold a special place and an easy return to listen to again.
