At 23, Andrew Forsthoefel headed out the back door of his home in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, with a backpack, an audio recorder, his copies of Whitman and Rilke, and a sign that read "Walking to Listen". He had just graduated from Middlebury College and was ready to begin his adult life, but he didn't know how. So he decided to take a cross-country quest for guidance, one where everyone he met would be his guide. In the year that followed, he faced an Appalachian winter and a Mojave summer. He met beasts inside: fear, loneliness, doubt.

So so story's brought to chilling life by superb narrator
Thought the stories were barely creepy. Feel like many can explained away with vivid imagination and drug usage. What really brought me to listen to this book was Philip Ormond. Great voice and great storyteller.

Interesting, but wasn't for me
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I think so. Even though I wasn't crazy about this title, it was something new and was interesting. The narration was very good, and that held my attention, the story felt kinda lacking.
Would you be willing to try another book from G. Michael Vasey? Why or why not?
Sure, why not
Which scene was your favorite?
I liked the grave yard scene

Creepy Real Life Accounts
What made the experience of listening to My Haunted Life Too the most enjoyable?
The best part was the combination of the narrator doing a great job handling the material with the fact that the author manages to share a large number of stories quickly without beating you over the head with them.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
There really wasn't much of a reaction to the ending because it just seemed to be the authors attempt at some kind of thought provoking conclusion though they were still thoughts that I had throughout the listening process.
What about Alan Philip Ormond’s performance did you like?
I appreciated his tone of voice and the way he handled the material. In some works the tension that the narrators add is one of the best parts, in this it was the opposite where he took on a story telling kind of aspect which definitely fit with the subject matter.
What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?
As a born cynic I didn't really pick up anything from it, but at the same time I wasn't trying to. It was purely for enjoyment and that's what I got out of it.
Any additional comments?
I received the code for this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed the structure and content of the work and really liked the performance of the narrator. Definitely recommended to anyone with interests in similar areas of the paranormal.
