Good book

The book was well written and well read. I came upon the freelancers union many years ago when seeking healthcare options as a freelancer. While I did not utilize the freelancers union for healthcare, I was happy to see this option and followed the organization’s journey. I wouldn’t feel comfortable to say I agree with everything in this book, but I do think it’s an educated perspective on the sector or independents, freelancers, and entrepreneurs in the United States. I cannot attest to the accuracy of the history and thoughts presented in this book surrounding labor unions as I’m not well informed on them at the present time. I do think that this book gives perspective and many ideas to think about.

An important book, please read it!

Working together is a radical solution that is tested and proven. Unions, cooperatives, houses of worship are important resources already but can plant much larger roles in building a just future that works. Government has a role in supporting these self help solutions but is now alone in the solutions.
Those are the main messages I got from Mutualism and they resonate with me.
