I loved all the parts of this book! I loved Xavier and Hunter starting to work through their issues. I loved sweet Matthew and how protective the other three were of him. I loved Miles starting to learn to push past his issues from his childhood. I love Hunter's daughter Olivia and all the characters from the Catalyst series. And I loved the amazing voices JF Harding does for everyone. I'm already dying to get more of their story!

Amazing Narration By JF Harding

This book was more of the same from book one. Super possessive sexy dudes who will do anything for the one they are obsessed with. The sex scenes are hot but insane. The storyline dragged. Everyone is turned on by everyone it seems. It didn't really do it for me. I liked the first book better and I didn't love that one. But this one was even dumber. Apparently Aurora's guys are just not great at action scenes. They always get caught or attacked without warning.

SPOILERS AHEAD

The addition of Matthew to the mix was boring. The last few chapters of the book were boring because of him. J.F. Harding is the only reason I kept listening. For some reason these super duper professional assassins decide it's a good idea to bring a naïve inexperienced guy on the hunt for the bad guy. WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT? It was so dumb. It was ludicrous. He of course is melting down and distracting them and as usual the bad guys get the drop on our amazing heroes. He even convinces these cold blooded killers to not kill the bad guy. I mean, it was so silly. He's a boring addition to the series and there is no reason these guys would be interested in bringing him into their relationship. He has nothing to offer. If it's his cluelessness that attracts them that won't last long so then what?

Aurora wants to write action but she should stick with the sex stuff because that is her strong suit. Action, she can't write. It's ALWAYS corny and bad.

All that being said, I'm going to listen to the other series of hers because J.F. Harding. So good for her in having great taste in narrators.

Sorry, Matthew is annoying and doesn't belong
