Highly Relatable Protagonist

Sara Cutler feels like someone you could actually know, a dedicated professional who is suddenly thrust into extraordinary circumstances right in her workplace. The plot's strength lies in making the reader feel Sara's connection to the town and her responsibility to her patrons, which raises the stakes of the murder investigation dramatically. The story unfolds naturally, using Sara’s existing knowledge of the locals to uncover the hidden motives and secrets that led to the crime. It’s a truly character-driven cozy mystery.

Cute story, but . . .

it took too long. Portions of the story were dragged out. Interesting characters. good narration. I will try the next book in the series.

Entertainment

That mystery surrounding the library was so entertaining! I really liked the characters in it. The narrator was great! 👍 The voice was pleasant and natural, without any forced accents or characters.
