"Murder in the Glen is an excellent quick read. I can't wait for a sequel. Great cast of characters. I recommend it as an aeroplane book, or whenever you have a few hours to kill." Five stars

"Carla Blair has separated from her husband and needs a fresh start. She relocates to Glen Roch and quickly makes friends with Violet, who owns the post office. The two of them find themselves in the midst of multiple murders, and they join forces to find the murderer or murderers. I liked the spunky character of Carla, the setting of the Scottish Highlands, and the plot involving mystery and a potential romance. It was a quick read but quite enjoyable."Five stars.

Murder in the Glen is the first book in the Carla Blair Mystery series.
After separating from her husband, Carla Blair courageously decides to leave Dublin behind and embrace a fresh start in the enchanting Scottish Highland village of Glen Roch. As she immerses herself in the charm of rural life, she quickly forms a bond with Violet MacDonald, the warm-hearted owner of the local post office. Carla is also drawn to the village’s charismatic police sergeant, Alec Macroy. However, her new beginning takes a dark turn when a local man, Jack Dawes, is brutally murdered, followed by a second tragic killing. With both cases closed due to insufficient evidence, Carla and Violet refuse to stand idly by; they take matters into their own hands to uncover the truth and bring the elusive killer to justice.
