Story interesting but the narration was not good

I enjoyed the story but I had a hard time following it at times. The problem was with the narration. Reading this book, might be easier than listening to it.

Disappointed!

The narration in Book 6 was the worst. It distracted from the story. It sounded like the narrator was reading the story for the first time, even stumbling over and correcting pronunciations. The consumer expects some quality control for a product being purchased.

I have totally been enjoying this series but I purchased this book and absolutely could NOT listen to this narrator!!!
Somebody should have listened to this reader before releasing it for purchase.
Too expensive for a poor listening experience and no way to get credit reimbursed 😞

Calico Gold

Kelly and Mike get summoned to his Aunt Agnes’s estate. She said she wants to discuss something with him. But soon after they arrive with their dogs and they see her she is murdered. It seems like there are a few people who could have wanted her gone. It’s a full house of a lot of commotion when Kelly’s daughter arrives with her family to visit also.

enjoyable mystery

This narration is a bit rocky. It honestly sounds like a first read-through. There are words that first been read wrong and then repeated correctly, there were mispronounced words, there are a lot of pauses...
I am not reading this series in order, nor all at one time. It’s just one from this author here in there picked from whatever series, wherever. These are good characters, you could tell that they were repeat characters. It was an enjoyable little mystery
