Very Good!!!

I enjoyed this audiobook. It is a very interesting novella. The characters and their roles are well defined and the plot is pretty straightforward. There is quite a bit of punch in a relatively short read. I am looking forward to listening to more from this series.

What happened next?

great intro, but I would like to see the story about what happened to Riley between this story and when he (spoiler alert!) re-appears in the series.

A good opener that is intriguing enough to want more. The author lets us get to know the leads powers, but hopefully we will get more about his personality in the novels.

Defining Jaimes past

Always written and read beautifully! The Academy could have more development for the overall story. I would love love to see similar on the Brigadiers past and origin.

A New Super Hero

I'm normally a military sci-fi guy, but this super natural special agent stuff was pretty cool. And you can't go wrong with Ray Porter...pure gold! More please!
