I love the authors writing style, stories, and the characters! I can't wait until thebnext installment. We still haven't met the Admiral and I can't wait to read how he receives his new grandpupper. Excellent series!

Maddy M brings the love for her friends that is not around in other stories. She’s a person who believes in the people she loves, wholeheartedly.
Maddy can read the patterns and clues others don’t see and will design them all together until the make sense or should I say mix them together and prepare them for baking! Go Maddy!

Great to see cozy mysteries reflecting more cultures and generations…

Cozy mysteries are my favorite and I enjoy them all - it is such a bonus to have the heroine and characters reflect both my generation and my culture and include things I can relate to as a black woman! There is a time and a place for every story and most times I just want something fun and clean with a little whodunnit - the characters and references tend to be of another culture than me. That is fine I still listen but to have characters that I can relate to is everything! Great work!

I love a cozy murder mystery and this book does not disappoint. So many twists and turns to follow. The characters are engaging and the narrator is wonderful.

I loved these two books and need more. I got a good feeling I know who killed Aunt Octavia. And... I wanna know had the Admiral's visit goes. I need more immediately. This is a feel-good and funny read from start to finish with a whole lot of who dunnit thrown in. #LuvmesomeBabyCakesBakery

Good mystery with the perfect voice!

I savored this book, as I did the first. Genuine dialogue, likable characters, excellent all the way around. I hope there’ll be more in the series!
