Erotica at its finest!

This is the best erotica book in audible that I have listened to so far. The narrator was outstanding, Elliot Daniels captured the eroticism and emotions of the characters in beautiful color. His voice is sexy and distinguished and was perfect for this story.
I was thrilled to find out this story was about adults my own age, not the twenty-somethings most books tend to be written about these days.
Excellent all around and will definitely look for more by this author and talented narrator.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Elaine. She was reserved but very able to share what she wanted and how she wanted it. She explored her mature sexuality within a loving, committed relationship. It worked for her and Joe and she was able to satisfy her own curiosities and turn her husband on at the same time.

No, this was the first time.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Spicy Neighbors

Mr. and Mrs. Average Joe is the story of your typical next door neighbors who also enjoy a bit of spice in their love life. Too bad all my neighbors are downright vanilla. It is mainly told by the male lead and feels very much like you are sitting in the living room being told a juicy story.

Narrator Elliott Daniels uses inflection well for each character and is excellent at staying in character. His female vocal range could use a little improvement but this definitely did not distract from the story.

I enjoyed listening to a story about people my own age for a change. It was also quite a treat to meet the fascinating author JF Silver and his muse, his wife, at a book convention where I entered into a raffle and won this sexy, fun audiobook.

Held my attention

I thought the blurb from this book would be interesting. There is not a lot written with middle age couples I found that would be fun. This qualifies. This is a shorter story so I am pleasantly surprise how well the author makes you feel familiar with the main characters Joe and Elaine. Not exactly bored but yet both wondering if there is something more they start experimenting. Their journey is so well told that I was unable to set the story aside. I felt they could be friends of mine. This is set up to be a multi experience story. I also appreciate the narrator. Elliott Daniels did a great job of bring the story to life. I received a free copy from AudiobooksUnleashed and this is my voluntary review.

Not Your Average Joe!

I loved everything about this book! I listened to it because it was about an average couple that was similar in age to my husband and I who were married a long time and were also empty nesters like us. Well, that's where the similarities ended. As exciting as their sex life sounds, I think I'm going to just live vicariously through them. While this book had several highly erotic sex scenes, I felt like there was also a story to it with Joe and Elaine and their doubts about taking their fantasies and making them a reality. Elliott Daniels did a wonderful job bringing this story to life. He definitely had the perfect voice for this story. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an erotic story with a more mature couple. I received this audiobook via Audiobooks Unleashed at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

I’d pass

I truly hate to say bad things about people’s voices when they narrate a book. Honestly there isn’t anything wrong with his voice but his voice is all wrong for this story and I don’t know if that had an impact on my like of the story in general but I just couldn’t. The couple is in there 50s. The narrator sounded Like my almost 90 year old grandpa. Being married to an almost 50 year old man I still expect them to sound like a normal many. My dad doesn’t even sound near as old. So listening to what could be my grandpa read an erotica novel is a pass for me. This is a porn book. To me erotica has a story line and a plot that really drags you in. This book is about sex and basically nothing else. If you’re in the market for sex scenes with multiple partners the step right up. I’ll pass on the grandpa porn
