Great Story!

This is probably my favorite book of this series thus far. The only issue I had was the female narrator for this audiobook. She was not good. She just didn’t embody the personality of Cassie the way she needed to be portrayed. She spoke too slow, too dry, and too boring is the best way I can put it. The male narrator was pretty good though, he did a decent job.

Caleb and Cassie!

Caleb owns a home repair business and he is Oliver’s go to guy when he needs renovations on his properties. Since being hurt by his ex-fiancee he is not interested in relationships or commitments and his experience with women is now limited to one night stands.

Cassie secures properties for Oliver when she comes across her childhood home for sale. She wants to fix it up and Caleb agrees to help. After watching her mom move from man to man she believes that they can’t be trusted and prefers handling any sexual needs solo.

They are friends but as they work together other feelings emerge and it evolved into friends + benefits but what happens when they start to see each other as much more than friends?

I loved the banter and chemistry between them and their chemistry was hot! I really enjoyed the narration as they brought the characters to life and allowed the reader to feel the same emotions as the characters. I voluntarily reviewed a compliment copy of this book from the author.

Just wow! Smokin Hot!

This one rivals Anaconda, the first in the series. I loved every minute, it had continual sexual tension, and lots & lots of smokin hot inventive sex. I knew from the previous book that’s I’d love Caleb, but I didn’t like Cassie, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that she’d grown up some and her personality was more quirky fun instead of silly stupid. I fell in love with both as they did each other. Who wouldn’t love a strong sexy man who knows how to use ALL his tools to get the best out of each job. A real don’t miss book. You can really enjoy as a stand-alone too. I did think the male narrator seemed a little old for Caleb but they both did a wonderful job to compliment the wonderful writing.

Great story, great performance. Definitely worth a listen! This is one of the best novels in this series.

she might be my new favorite

Lauren Landish just might be my new favorite author! she starts right out with great sex scenes you don't have to listen to hours of build up prior to anything happening and she's not afraid to discuss ass play... let's face it most people like it they just don't talk about it, and if they say they don't it's because they have never done it with the right person!
unfortunately if you are a fan of the romance package you knew these two would get together in the previous book in the series still a good story still love the outcome

Fixer Uppers!

Gah! Here I thought I loved Caleb and Cassie's story the first time I read it; I had no clue how much more I would love it with the added narration by Patrick Garrett and Ellie McClendon! Bringing the humorous broken characters to life, with all that sexy, sass, and heartfelt banter - utter perfection!
A fictional pleasure for the mind, ears, and heart, this is one book IMO worth the time and credit!

This a fun, sweet, super steamy and enjoyable journey to go on with Cassie and Caleb. Their banter is entertaining, and their chemistry is fantastic. I enjoyed this story.
This was the first time hearing Patrick Garrett and Ellie McClendon, I was not disappointed. They were both amazing.
