Nikki Raynor has returned to Springfield, Missouri, to regain control of her life after having run away two years earlier. A former high school music teacher, she now works for an advertising agency, and Cody Fleming, the neighbor boy she adored as a girl, is her newest client. Cody, a strong Christian, is part of his family's show at their theater in Branson and has always been the kind of person who takes in strays. When he wants to help Nikki, she resists. He must overcome her insecurities and convince her she is the right girl for him - as well determine whether God is calling him to the ministry. Nikki must regain her inner sight and develop a vision for the future. But can it be with Cody?

Technical Issues Made Listening Difficult

Book 2 In Series, May Contain Spoilers

Nikki Raynor became blind not too long ago. She lost her vision in a train derailment and as she wandered from the scene she sort of dropped off the grid – presumed dead.

She manages to find a woman who helps train her to live without her vision (I cannot recall what the title of this person is.) A short time later she lands a job at an entertainment company as an agent working on promotional materials for different clients.

One day, a blast from the past walks into her office, Cody Flemming. They take this chance to reconnect from their childhood they become close.

This is a contemporary Christian romance, with Nikki struggling with her loss of sight and questions why God won't fix it. Cody is seeking clarity on whether to become a pastor or not, as well as what to do about Nikki.

I really enjoyed the story and it touched on many things that I have not heard or thought about.

It was very disappointing to me that the last hour and a half had major technical difficulties. The author would speak a line or two and then it would be repeated verbatim. I don't fault the author or narrator for this. I hope the recording studio can clean this up quickly. (I considered that it might be my machine, but I have not had problems with any of the other books I've listened to prior to and after this.)

Because of my frustration with the technical difficulty, I did not finish the book. However, I was able to listen to about three fourths or two thirds of the book and that is what I am going to judge the book.

The narrator, Amanda was one of my first listen for review contracts almost 2 years ago. She has only improved since listening to her about one year ago. She is professional, can tell the story without distracting from it . The characters are believable and performed well.

*I was given this book in exchange for this review after listening to the book. I really did enjoy it and hope to be able to listen to the last hour when it is fixed.

Notes: This is a very sweet and innocent story with a couple of areas that made this listener think about her own life. This is not a hot and sexy romance and there were absolutely no reference to violence or strong language.

Stars: Based on the portion I was able to listen to, I give 3.5 to 4.0 stars in each category.

Very Nice

What did you love best about Mozark Vision?

I loved how Nikki and Cody found each other. They learned to listen to each other and work through whatever was difficult for them.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mozark Vision?

The most memorable moment is the ending. Nikki runs off and Cody has to go after her. She is blind, scared and doesn't know where she is. Cody not only tells her but shows her just how much he loves her. So sweet.

What about Amanda Fugate-Moss’s performance did you like?

Amanda Fugate-Moss did a lovely job. I was engrossed in the story. She brought the characters to life. I had an emotional experience and wanted to hear more.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Love conquers all

Any additional comments?

I wish I could give this story more than five stars. I enjoyed it so much that I felt I needed to write my first review. Exciting

Reading was very poor

Seems like the reading was not edited. The reader started and restarted many sentenced and said "dammit" numerous times. Very unprofessional and not what I would expect from a christian romance.
