Hilarious and entertaining!
This book kept me laughing from start to finish! The narration is superb! I enjoyed the banter and the heroine’s hilarious thought processes ... which I found totally relatable. The narrator did an excellent job of bouncing back and forth between characters, all the while catching the nuances of meaning in her voice, and consistency of accent throughout the book. A very funny and well-written book!

Narration better than the book
The story kept my interest, but there were some definite holes in it. Nevertheless, if this author writes a sequel about finding the twin brother, this story was compelling enough that I will probably read a second one.

Fun quick read
There were some good twists but this tale lacks depth. There are hints at the backstory but not enough to fully invest me in reading any sequels (assuming they exist). The narration was well done and you could tell the characters apart fairly well. Not my favorite book of late. —I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Can she balance life while solving a murder?
Mourning Express is the epitome of a sweet cozy mystery. It's well written, very fun, a little quirky, poignant at times, and has just the right dash of romance to flavor up the murder and mayhem. What else could you ask for in a cozy mystery? I really enjoyed author K.M. Waller's charming writing style and delightful characters. She very effectively pulls the reader right into the story and gets you to put your own amateur sleuth hat on to try and solve the mystery alongside Rosie and the others. I've actually previously read this as an e-book but couldn't pass up on the audiobook version when I had the chance. I'm glad I did because I got to enjoy a story that I already liked in a whole new way. The production was very good and I have to say that the narrator was the perfect choice, she just 'sounded' like Rosie. If you are as much of a fan of The Funeral Fakers series I am, whether in e-book or audiobook, Mourning Express, K.M. Waller's addition to said series will be sure to charm your socks off just as it did me. (I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher. All opinions are entirely my own.)

Funny little mystery
I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. It is a little outside of my normal likes but I thought I'd give it a try and boy am I glad I did! A down on her luck b list celebrity with a hashtag for drama turns to professional mourning to make ends meet. While "mourning" the loss of her dear friend she uncovers a mystery she didn't expect to find. With the help of her makeup artist friend Gabe and possible love interest Matteo she is able to uncover the truth and get justice. This was a funny story at times and overall very enjoyable. I would recommend this book if you are looking for a light hearted mystery.

Fantastic book
This was a fantastic book. It had me laughing through out the book. Rosie who is an out of work actress who is labeled a diva. She finds herself in need of a job so she can pay her part of the rent. Her grandmother is in a assisted living place and she needs to get the payments for that caught up. She gets a referral to contact someone that runs a business of funeral fakers. Rosie decides to take it and has to give a eulogy pretending to be part of the family. Rosie goes beyond this job to prove the deceased was murdered instead of his fall being an accident. This is a fun series and do want to read more books in this series. I requested this book as a gift in exchange for an honest review. The narrator does a fantastic job.

Murder has never been funnier
I really enjoyed this quirky book. I wasn't sure about it at first because let's face it who likes funerals but the picture and blurb did sound like it could be funny. So I gave it ago, glad I did because it was funny and not a single tear was shed. I liked the unusual plot line and the mystery worked well with plenty of suspects to keep you guessing who was the killer. The group of characters were likeable enough that they pulled it off well and you could easily picture it on the tv. I hope there are more books in this series to come because I would like to see how the romance and job hunt turn out for Rosie. Rosie is behind in her rent, she is having to hide from the admin at her grandmother's nursing home and avoid men with subpoenas and find a lawyer over a slight mishap which involved a fire. All of this is the only reason she takes on the role of a life time......well okay not quite but it will need her to do her best acting. She is being paid to give a eulogy for a man she doesn't know and everybody hated. As she digs into his past to find something nice to say she begins to question if the police have got it right ruling his slip in the shower accident. The problem is her reputation as a C-list celebrity diva proceeds her and they won't listen. Time to dust of those acting skills and old wigs. Rosie has a murder to solve. I liked the narrator she used her voice well to express emotion and excitement, making the story come to life with every sentence. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
