Good but nit for everyone

This is not an autobiography or a biography. This is strictly an audiobook as it contains actual voice recordings of Mother Teresa on various thoughts and subjects . Not all recordings are of equal value. Some are clear and others sound as if they were recorded from the back of the room picking up every murmur, throat clearing and such. While I found Mother Teresa’s voice soothing, some of her views on certain topics went a bit over the top for me.

Amazing inspiration from hearing clips of Mother Teresa’s words of advice, it will definitely move you to be the change that the world needs.

Adore this audiobook

Mother Teresa has always been a strong part of my life as a child and growing up. Hearing Mother Teresa speak, profoundly and deeply touched my heart and soul, and I appreciate this audiobook very much. I started to listen to this around Mothers Day 2021 and how much I wish I had known this book existed 2 years ago. The special thing about audiobooks - and specifically this one - is that no matter how isolated, alone, fearful we are or has been imposed on us - listening to Saint Teresa's words and having her words resonate in my heart as reminders of who we are / who I am and what I fundamentally believe in, is something that someone can never take away from us once we are re-grounded or reconnected. There is healing in listening to Mother Teresa, healing that only came from hearing her words and reconnecting to faith and hope (for me) and so I highly recommend this book to others for so many reasons.

It has been refreshing and uplifting to be reminded through Mother Teresa's words that we were Created for greater things, to never do harm, to do all things - starting with small things with love and that "God uses the unborn child to teach lessons, not big people or important people" (chapter 30). The gift of life, realities of abortion and the ending life, destroying love, peace, and the effects abortion has years on women and mothers is important and often forgotten.

"Love begins at home; it it starts at home and without it will destroy unity, society, peace" (Chapter 31). Love life and God, and love your neighbor.

Such a precious book. ♥️🌸

This book was truly eye opening to what love is and what it looks like today, to serve God. Whether you are Catholic, Christian and no religion, all can recieve something great from the book.
