Als ihre Besitzer in den Urlaub fahren, müssen Moppi und Möhre ins Meerschweinchenhotel. Doch der Abschiedsschmerz währt nicht lange, denn das Leben hier ist herrlich: Es gibt Gurkeneis und Löwenzahnmilch mit Strohhalm, die Heubergbetten sind kuschlig weich und man kann per Rutsche gleich zum Knabberbuffet sausen. Und dann sind da noch Elvis, Schäfi, Grufti und Nacki, mit denen man richtig was erleben kann. Doch als Schäfi in den Hotelpool fällt – ohne Schwimmflügel! –, wird es Moppi und Möhre fast ein bisschen zu aufregend.
