Her family was enemy number one which made her guilty by association. I despised her before I even knew her. It was easier that way. But now she’d moved in next door to me, and she was everywhere I turned. I couldn’t avoid her no matter how hard I tried. She was beautiful and honest and sweet. Everything I knew I shouldn’t want. Shouldn’t need.

Audio issues
The story was good but the audio issues on Connor’s side were VERY distracting. It was layered speaking that I was willing to overlook until it happened way too often. Just random moments where it sounds like two of him talking about a millisecond behind… you know just enough to make you wonder if you’re high the first three times

Audio issues
So many times (maybe 6) the audio would change almost like overlapping the narrator who be reading but it was like 6 of him with a bit of a stutter. It got to the point I stopped listening and listened to another book.
Overall the story was good. The audio quality is what made it a 3 star book for me……get it on sale don’t use a credit or pay full price unless they fix the issue
