First love is often painful, but for nobody more so than Stephen. When he meets Poppy, an ancient witch hell bent on destroying the world, it is love at first sight ... but to be fair, she has nice legs. As she leads him away from his friends and family, he drifts into a world filled with vampires, a succubus, a ghost, and even a hint of voodoo. There he will learn that though love may be blind, it often has teeth.

Trying to stop the world's end is Tic, an ethereal being who knows more about the witch than he wished he did. He stopped her once and has survived the thousands of years sense, knowing that one day the witch would come back to try again. To stop her, he will have to lead a group of people to the place it all began, a spot in Texas that has the power to bridge dimensions and open our world to a darker place.

There, the two groups will face off as the fate of the world rests in the balance.
