Great Overview of AI intersections with modern life

I loved the real life examples of what he lays out. it's not a love it or hate it viewpoint. It is what it is but lots of food for thought.

Succinct and very informative

Great and concise overview. A little scary. Wonderful that Jim Rickards read it himself. It made all the difference.. It’s always so interesting to hear him talk. I don’t think he took a breath once!

Why GPT is dangerous

Excellent book though it starts out dry. Best material is sections where Rickards explains how and why AI and GPT will lead to unforeseen disasters if not restrained by human judgment and common sense.

Not an AI review

Rickards is throwing real world aspects and truths out there that many with their blinders on wanted to double down and plug their ears with tampons.
The performance was well done and most the the nay sayers on it are just looking to gripe about something because they don't want to hear true facts.

Practical suggestions on how to shore up and continue in on matter what

I appreciate the depth of analysis and the breadth of topics Mr Rickards covers. He quotes cultural influencers from art to banking to AI to the pandemic.
His comforting reminders to keep our senses as we travel through this phase of digital living are appreciated.

A critique on AI

I’d recommend this book to anyone that wants to understand the danger of AI in stock markets and in high stake decision making moments (ie military action)

James lays out information I had not thought of & how & why AI may or may not be the great problem solving devices we think they are
