Publisher's Summary

This audiobook offers you out-of-the-box concepts with money. Money Isn't the Problem, You Are is written for people who live in a constant state of difficulty around money, whether it's spending too much, not having enough, or having too much. In Money Isn't the Problem, You Are, Gary Douglas and Dain Heer share processes, tools, and points of view that you can use to change the way money flows into your life.

Gary and Dain have worked with lots of people regarding money issues. Through innovative tools, Douglas and Heer have helped those who had $10 in their pocket and people who had 10 million. The interesting thing is they all have the same issue, and it has nothing to do with money. It has to do with what they are unwilling to receive. What you are unwilling to receive creates the limitation of what you can have. Change that, and money isn't an issue anymore!

Learning to receive is the greatest thing you can do. Money Isn't the Problem, You Are is based on the very popular Access Money seminar, which has been taught in cities throughout the US, Costa Rica, Australia, and New Zealand.

"It's not about money. It never is. It's about what you're willing to receive. The universe is endlessly abundant. Learn to make different choices with the empowering tools in this book. You can create a different reality." - Gary Douglas, founder of Access Consciousness

Wish the reader flowed more

Would you try another book from Gary M. Douglas and Dain Heer and/or Connor Hill?

I have bought another book by Dain Heer, read by Dain Heer and it's been a lot easier for me to listen to multiple times.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Having done a lot of personal development work prior to listening to this book, a lot of the concepts about Money were not necessarily "new" to me so I was able to get "on-board" with a number of the ideas and tools presented pretty easily.

How could the performance have been better?

At first listen, I thought this reader was OK, and could use a little improvement, and was surprised that the finished product went out as it did without having been re-recorded and fixed the flow. It was difficult to listen to the first time, and I notice more and more jarring points with each listen. This book is about 2.5 hours and good content, so it is something that is easy and desirable to listen to over and over again. Though this reader makes it more and more difficult with each additional listen for me.

Was Money Isn't the Problem, You Are worth the listening time?

The listening time is short, and I like the content. I have listened to it several times.

Any additional comments?

This was the first Access Consciousness audio book I listened to, and I'm glad I didn't let this particular narrator prevent me from getting another book, "Being You, Changing the World" by Dain Heer, which was actually read by the author.

very sad delivery ... narration lacked big time!

The narrator's voice was good.... but his delivery and performance was tough. it was more like a rough draft vs a finished product. It really took away from the content. His pauses where unatural ... he'd pause and stumble of words. and then when there where obvious questions ... offer not even a milisecond of reflection. mean it it it it felt like it was a first attempt at reading the book out loud instead of a quality delivered product. Basically it would have been nice if somebody had directed him and edited the final product.

Different way of thinking

Lots of ideas and very different way of thinking and looking at life. Lots of ideas, which I am implementing in my life. If author provider key statements and points in a one or two page PDF to audio users, it will help.

Don't judge yourself

The draw comes from my own search for more than just a human experience. A must hear two or three times.

Some good info

I found good nuggets but I agree with others that the person reading this book should have been allowed additional “takes”. His blunders were sort of distracting.

Please change the narrator

Great content but torture to listen to, i have never listened to an audio book with so many narrator errors in my life. It sounded like it was the first draft, horrific to the ear!
i loved the content though, i want to repeat and and take notes this time but not sure i can stand the narrator

Wonderful and practical tools

The book is wonderful as access books usually are; unfortunately the narrator, not so much :(

Useful tools

I read "Being you, changing the world" before this book.
Most of the concepts (which are VERY useful and I love) are the same, but in "Money isn't the problem, you are" they are more focused on the abundance factor.
I like the practical use of all the tools shared.
The narrator and/or the editing of the audio have some flaws, but the content is what's important.

Powerful info if you're willing to use it!

Where does Money Isn't the Problem, You Are rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

If you're into Access you'll love this book. The only reason I have Audible is to listen to books like this. This is a gem and I've listened to it over and over. I catch a new piece of important info every time I listen to it.

What other book might you compare Money Isn't the Problem, You Are to and why?

It's similar to most Access books. They all share many common threads so if you've listen to or read any of Gary or Dane's other books you've likely already received a lot of this info.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Unfortunately I can't stand the narrator. For me there's nothing good about his read of this book at all. He doesn't emphasize the right part of sentences and in doing this sometimes it's hard to catch the point the author is making. He's also constantly saying what he thinks is about to come next in the sentence but he's wrong and then catches himself and tries to correct it. I've listened to this book at least 10 times and would listen to it more but the narrator drives me crazy!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The info is really powerful, life changing in fact, if you're willing to receive it and actually use it. If you're not willing to put it into action, well, then it's just another book.

Any additional comments?

If you're into Access you'll definitely love this book.

Simple yet practical and fun

This is my 3rd time of reading. Each time I discover more gems. I love the simplicity of the tools in this book. I’ve found that when I’m willing to give them a go, magic happens!
