Publisher's summary

Two widows. One wedding dress. And a promise of forever in the next installment of the Wilder Brothers from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan.

A wedding dress is meant to be worn only once.

When a stranger finds herself in need of a miracle at the last minute, I do the unthinkable: I offer mine to her.

The same one I wore down the aisle for my late husband.

Now I’m invited to the wedding and finding myself wondering why I shut myself away from the world for so long.

I’m only meant to be at the Wilder Retreat for a single day except I go home with not only a job offer, but the promise of something more.

Ridge Wilder is hiding secrets of his own. And the undeniable chemistry between us burns before we even contemplate taking that first step.

Only I’ve already had my happy ever after. I never planned on finding another.

And Ridge is even far more broken than I am—with a past that might come back to haunt us both.

Second chances

I love the Wilder brothers and now I’m falling in love with the Wilder cousins. Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton did an incredible job of bringing Aurora and Ridge’s emotional journey to life. Losing someone you love takes a toll on a person. Ridge and Aurora’s heartache was raw and real and I felt a connection to them both.

🩷My favorite story of all🩷

Why Carrie Ann must you do this to me??? How many tissues did I need.? I lost count that’s how many. To say I loved Ridge and Aurora’s story would be an under statement. Two people trying to find their way again due to loss and heartache has a way of healing once you enter The Wilder Resort. The Wilder cousins officially entered the “chat” 😂 and they have just as many secrets as their cousins. Aurora has no idea what a strong woman she has become but she living for the moment as her new found self. And Ridge is trying to be security and live his life with his memories. And we all know what happens when the women enter or the men wait to hear What is truly happening. Everyone always thinks they can hide it. I love how the Wilder women embraced Aurora from the very beginning. I must say I love Trace and Ridge’s dynamic. What dynamic duo they are. And the rest of the brothers, well those are stories I am desperately waiting for. This story was beautifully written. They may have just become my favorite Wilder
Couple. 🩷🩷🩷AND Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton did such an amazing job bringing these two broken souls to life. Bravo to you all

Wilder cousins are in the resort

And the Wilder cousins stories begin. We met Ridge in the last Wilder Brothers book. So no surprise this book centers around him. What is surprising is the secret he is keeping.

Aurora is a widow. She has spent the last five years dealing with the guilt of losing her husband. And it doesn't help that his family blames her for his death. When she sees a post about a bride's missing wedding dress that is a family heirloom and her wedding is in two days, she contacts the Wilders. She's finally decided to move on and she thinks her wedding dress can help this bride on her wedding day. The bride loves the dress and invites her to stay for the wedding. After a series of events, Aurora has a new job and her and Ridge have a connection.

Ridge is able to open up to Aurora and tell her about his past and what is haunting him. His time with her was just supposed to be fun times, but it turns into so much more. But as their relationship progresses, she tells him that he needs to tell his family what happened or they cannot continue to move forward.

When Ridge's past threatens his future, will he be able to save Aurora? Or will history repeat itself?

I so enjoy listening to Samantha Brentmoor. She is probably my favorite female narrator. Listening to her in this book just reinforces this for me. She brings out the emotions for Aurora and the frantic bride to be. As for Teddy Hamilton, you can't go wrong with him. He brought tears to my eyes when Ridge was telling Aurora what happened in his past.

Emotional and touching romance!

Moments for You by Carrie Ann Ryan was an emotional and touching story about second chances. Part of the Wilder Brothers series, this can be read as a standalone, however, I highly recommend every book in the series as I have been enjoying this series so much. I have to say, Ridge and Aurora just stole my heart. Ridge is a Wilder cousin who found what he needed when joining his cousins at the Wilder Resort. He has been keeping secrets and suffering in silence, though he knows his family would be there for him. Aurora is trying to form her new normal after losing not only her husband, but so much more.

No matter what life has thrown Aurora, she is selfless and caring. While she is still working through her grief, she decides to help a woman in need of a wedding dress when the unthinkable happens. Now she may have been given the fresh start she needed, in more ways than one. I loved how caring and protective Ridge was. Suffering from his own grief, Aurora was unexpected light in his life. Their journey was heartbreaking at times and yet so heartwarming in others. These two truly stole my heart as I waited to see if they could let the other in and accept love again. The chemistry and connection they shared was undeniable, but both had so much to work through individually and together. I loved their story so much and highly recommend it.

Happy listening!

I needed all the tissues

Did I cry? Of course I did! Oh my gosh this one was emotional on a whole different level for me. The heartbreak of lost loved ones sure, but the sharing of special memories and the understanding for each other, ahhh yeah I cried! I love this new group of Wilders coming in and cannot wait for all of their stories. My tissues are all stocked up again.

Haunting perfection.

Emotion dances to the beat of the soul and embeds itself onto the heart. Moments for You is not your average love story. Told from a place of raw honesty and deep heartache, Ryan delivers a tale of great courage and hope that leaves a lasting impression. Full of ugly cry moments and tingles of the heart, Hamilton and Brentmoor give voice to two beautifully wounded, irreplaceable characters. Ridge and Aurora are haunting perfection.

Second chance at love

Ridge is secretly grieving the loss of his girlfriend and unborn child. Needing a change, he accepts a security job at Wilder Retreat.

After several years, Aurora is still grieving the loss of her husband. When an Instagram post catches her eye about a bride's dress being lost, she decides it's finally time to move forward and gives the distraught bride her wedding dress.
While at the Retreat, Aurora and Ridge cross paths. As their friendship builds, Ridge finally confides in Aurora about his loss which ultimately brings them closer together. Will their love be enough to overcome their grief to get a HEA they both deserve.

This is a beautiful story about two souls who suffered great loss and finding new love that will heal their hearts. Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor do an outstanding job narrating Ridge and Aurora's love story.

Have tissue handy

Have some tissue handy! I loved this book. My heart went out to both Aurora and Ridge. One who everyone knew her loss and one who hid his loss. Together can they heal? Ok, yeah HEA so we know that they finally find peace. But the journey? That is heart wrenching, but also uplifting at the same time. They go from being stuck and not moving forward to wanting more. Wanting to live again. They also have to deal with the family's of their former loves. That gets to be sticky. Get ready for a rollercoaster of a ride.

I both read and listened to this book. The dual narration was great! It brought the book to life and while listening I noticed things that I missed while reading.
