It is cozy but not a mystery.

I would never consider this a mystery. It is only acozy little story. Not violent, relaxing and cosy

Refreshing

When I saw the title, I thought this might be a nail-biting murder mystery. Happily I was wrong. It is a delightful coming-of-age story (so to speak) about a recently widowed woman. She changes from simply living how her situation dictates to proactively creating her life. Faith-building miracles abound as she gains friends and happiness.

The performance

The performance was virtual. It was so bad and monotone. The store wasn’t bad but lacked. It too all I had to finish.

Great book! Grabs your emotions right from the start!

You quickly start rooting for the main character and want good things to happen for her! A sad story with a Christmas ending!

Definitely a "Christian" cozy novel

A little disappointed with the overt and constant praising of God's intervention when something good happened in the plot line. With a title like Miss Marple's B &B, I had high hopes for a good bloodless but riveting mystery, but it was slow plot development and a lot of good- two-shoes characters, with frankly little to no suspense or intrigued. writing as far as character development was fine but at the cost of books slow pace. Plus main character is a women of an older generation being controlled from the grave by her dead husband and a compliant lawyer. It was infuriating and I am 50 years old. Even my 85 year mother isn't this generational cliché.

Story just ok , AI reading awful

From the title it sounded promising . “Agatha” and “Marple forecast something much more entertaining with an implication that the reader is in for some kind of parallel mysterious storyline following the Agatha and Marple tease. However, the plot was thin and one dimensional. Main character could have been much more fleshed out and more interesting , with a richer backstory . The AI narration was truly awful : sing song , mispronounced words or accent placed on wrong syllable. I wondered if the program was learning as it read. Intonation was wrong and almost monotonous, with serious scenes read in the same tone and inflections, too preciously sincere especially when the story was indicating something more serious or sadder. This may have influenced how I perceived the story itself , however the writing was just not that good. I will avoid AI narration from now on . With so many good narrators out there why use something so inferior. Hint : money.
