Rocking on front porches, drinking sweet iced tea out of heirloom glasses while indulging in a little innocent gossip is a way of life in the small southern town of Park Place, South Carolina. Reverend Rock Clark is the middle-aged preacher of the Presbyterian Church in town and has made peace with the fact that he is "unlucky in love" and will always be a bachelor. He's become quite comfortably settled in his life, but suddenly a serious car accident involving a mysterious young woman and her daughter throws him into the role of detective. Trying to track down the father of the five-year-old child while her mother is in a coma, he enlists the help of his neighbor, Liz, an attractive widow. While searching for the child's relatives, Rock's comfortable lifestyle becomes quite uncomfortable when he stumbles into a tangled web of deceit and a case of misguided intentions.

When things finally settle down, Liz retreats to her mountain cabin when she realizes that her feelings for Rock have grown past the friendship stage. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and her absence has left him confused and baffled at how much he misses her. Will he once again let love slip through his fingers?

A very nice surprise… a new author for me and what a wonderful treat! It’s more than one story … but several wove together so well … with a bit of a mystery, a bit of drama, romance done so well and a few tears with lots of faith and hope!! WONDERFUL ❣️

Great all around!

This is the first book I have enjoyed by this author. The narrator has a great southern voice! The book is very interesting, wholesome and enjoyable!

The small town feel

I loved it all couldn’t stop , listened to it anywhere I could , especially no curse words at all

Sweet Tea and Southern Grace was a good book. My first book by the author and narrator did a good job bringing it to life. I am excited to listen to the rest of the series.

Faith affirming and clean

The story line was interesting with just enough twists to keep me guessing. The narrator was easy to understand and I enjoyed the book. I will be watching for more of the author’s work.

A wonderful written story

This was a very warm, clean written, romantic story that had scripture throughout. This was very well written and detailed and I love how the story flowed with a little mystery towards the end.I really liked listening to this story.

Sweet small town life

I loved how this story drew me in. The characters were likable and the story was heartwarming. My only complaint was that the end wrapped up too quickly and seemed a bit rushed.

I like the scripture references and the sweet stories and most of all the biker’s testimony.

A dose of the sweet life

This story is so heartwarming and sweet. It has characters who are realistic and I never thought about the problems of a minister.

Southern charm at its best

I was just captivated by Rock’s southern accent. A true gentleman, classic southern style. If you want an uplifting story about the good nature of Southern hospitality, This is a must listen. The characters are interesting and engaging. It was truly an escape from the ugliness of what our world has become, filled with scripture gives it the touch of what most long for. The strength and hope of Gods love. Anxious to listen to the next book.
