Publisher's summary

In the thrilling sequel to the New York Times best-selling novel Minecraft: The Island, a stranded hero stumbles upon another castaway—and discovers that teamwork might just be the secret to survival.

Wandering a vast, icy tundra, the explorer has never felt more alone. Is there anything out here? Did I do the right thing by leaving the safety of my island? Should I give up and go back? So many questions, and no time to ponder—not when dark is falling and dangerous mobs are on the horizon.

Gurgling zombies and snarling wolves lurk in the night, and they’re closing in. With nowhere to hide, the lone traveler flees up a mountain, trapped and out of options...until a mysterious figure arrives, fighting off the horde singlehandedly. The unexpected savior is Summer, a fellow castaway and master of survival in these frozen wastes.

Excited to find another person in this strange, blocky world, the explorer teams up with Summer, whose impressive mountain fortress as a safe haven...for now. But teamwork is a new skill for two people used to working alone. If they want to make it home, they will have to learn to work together—or risk losing everything.

This book is good

I love this book, but I wish jack black narrated it because having to people be the same voice hurts my brain.

Good book the story is great but in chapter 10 there’s weird low-pitched noises like wubulala (low-pithed).Also Guy is a character from Final Fight Video Games by Capcom.

Rules

A very big change from the island with a new cherector and I love that they adventured the nether and I loved the twist when it followed the updates in the Minecraft game.

Best book I ever read next to The Island

I am an 11-year-old boy. This is the best book I have ever read next to The island! I plan on reading it over snd over . As a matter of fact I am going to reread The Island right now.

Amazing Story

This is an amazing story book for anyone who is an awesome Minecraft lover. I loved the reference back to the first book and all the new lessons that guy learned. I’d recommend this to anyone who plays Minecraft, have heard of Minecraft, or even just read the first book.

LITERALLY CANNOT WAIT FOR A SEQUAL

At first i was disappointed that Jack Black wasn’t back for the narration, but then Sean (Sam Gamgee) stepped up and delivered a really good performance. Story was pretty awesome without giving to much away. Already ready for the next one!

Pretty good book.

I have to agree with most of the other reviews. Sean is a fantastic narrator first off. However it is jarring to go from Jack to Sean. Especially if you are listening to one book right after the other. I wish Sean had Done the first book or Jack the second just for consistency sake. I honestly prefer Sean over Jack. That doesn’t change the fact that the switch distracts from the first part of the book while trying to reconcile the different styles of narrations. I still enjoyed it.
