Publisher's summary

The first comprehensive military history of armed confrontations between humans and extraterrestrials. It:

  • Includes documentation of incidents from World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, and the ongoing hostilities in the Middle East
  • Reveals the US Navy’s defeat in Antarctica by ETs, the shoot-down of “flying saucers” at Roswell, alien sabotage of nuclear weapons, in-flight abductions of USAF and Soviet officers, and evidence of the Battle of Los Angeles
  • Explains the link between the development of atomic bombs and ballistic missiles and the increase in extraterrestrial intervention in the 20th century

Although close encounters with alien spacecraft are reported as far back as the reign of Pharaoh Thutmosis III in Egypt, it wasn’t until the 20th century that UFO sightings and extraterrestrial encounters were truly documented, due to advances in technology and record-keeping as well as the vast increase in incidents, particularly with military forces.

Revealing his extensive research and the verifiable evidence he’s discovered, Frank Joseph presents a comprehensive military history of armed confrontations between humans and extraterrestrials in the 20th and 21st centuries. He explains how, with the development of atomic bombs and ballistic missiles, the frequency of extraterrestrial intervention in human affairs increased dramatically. He documents incidents both famous and little known, including the explosive demolition of US munitions factories in 1916 by unearthly aerial vehicles, the Red Baron’s dogfight with a UFO during World War I, “foo fighter” sightings and battles with Allied and Axis combatants during World War II, and eyewitness reports from encounters during the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War in Iraq, and the ongoing hostilities in the Middle East. He examines the evidence for the shoot-down of “flying saucers” at Roswell and Aztec, New Mexico, alien sabotage of nuclear weapons systems, and in-flight abductions of USAF and Soviet officers and airplanes. He explores the photo evidence for the Battle of Los Angeles, which occurred three months after Pearl Harbor, and the details of Operation Highjump, the US Navy’s defeat in Antarctica by ET forces 17 months after the atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, while also uncovering evidence of secret Antarctic German bases.

The author also examines recent, 21st-century examples of alien interdiction in earthly affairs, such as the meltdown of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant in Japan and the fiery abort of Elon Musk’s Falcon 9 missile launch, both events accompanied by UFOs. Offering complete disclosure of the multitude of ET events over the past century, Frank Joseph gives us the first true reference guide in the field of alien military encounters.

Quote-unquote

The story is great, but the narrator, my god the narrator. It was painful to listen to. He has a great voice, it was the constant quote-unquote, quote-unquote, quote-unquote, quote-unquote, quote-unquote. I don't know if that was how the author wrote it, or if Mr. Rick really thought he had to emphasis each. and. every. quote-unquote. in the book. It was beyond distracting, it was off putting and made me have to stop listening frequently. I want to QUOTE listen to the whole book, UNQUOTE but I don't know if I have the QUOTE patience to finish it. UNQUOTE

Great, credible

I’ve read the intelligently written, mostly fact based UFO books and this is up there. Relying on lots of credible military pilots and more, it’s another look into those who interact with UFOs the most: the military. I recommend it and have a 1000+ book library.

A fairly good compilation of military-et encounter

BUT ...
1) Nothing new here for anyone familiar with the subject.
2) The author seems to have done little of his own research into the subject, preferring to simply quote other often online sources. Some of known questionable reliability.
3) In some cases the author tends to stretch facts to suit his(?) theories, and even ignores many newly declassified ones, often preferring to only consider them more government disinformation at best.
4) I fully disagree with the author's final summation that we should not encourage or allow our military to "further antagonize" these being of such "superior technology" by defending our nation or planet from their intrusions. Quite the opposite. --- But that is MY opinion, and he is certainly entitled to his own.
5) The narrator's over usage of, "quote, end quote, quote, end quote, quote, end quote, . . . ad nauseum.", was extremely annoying, and a great distraction from the work.

=) As stated, this work forms a good compilation of many of the military encounters with extraterrestrials from over the course of time. However, I would highly recommend that anyone finding items of interest contained within this work do their own further research. It isn't hard what with all of the many dependable online resources that continue to emerge these days. --- As they say, "The Truth IS Out There." --- And it might just be even more stunning than you would care to imagine.

quote quote quote my god

the voice over person does not understand that you do not need to say the word QUOTE every single bloody time!! My god this abuse destroyed the book for me. I don't care what excuse there is, if everyone did this audio books would be destroyed.

Easily one of the worst "research" book ever done

if not for the horrible narration job, it would be so bad that it could pass as a comedy. The research seems to be from YouTube comments and fake documents. the first chapters talk about the Tulli Papyrus which should've let me know I was in for a rough ride

Quote, unquote

Quote, unquote, quote, unquote, quote, unquote, quote, unquote, quote, unquote.
What might be a great book, and even decent narration is absolutely ruined by the narrator saying quote, unquote, when reading the thousands of quoted sentences. it's incessant, and rendered the book unlistenable.
it's absolutely bizarre, I've never encountered this before in any of the neat 1000 audio books I own. Getting a refund.

Recycled crap

If you enjoy reading quotes from actual researchers or cut and pasted anecdotes from the worst, unsubstantiated internet sources then this is the book for you. For the record, quoting from the comments section of you tube videos is NOT how you write a book about anything but especially UFO’s. Not an ounce of critical thought went into this other than how to stretch the word count.
