TRAV

I remember the first time I met Dylan Rodriguez. It was one sweaty encounter I’ll never forget.

The second time we met, he arrested me. I can still see the hot scowl on his beautiful face as he slapped handcuffs on me and realized I was…me.

Dylan’s main goal in life is to forget he ever met me. My goal is to make him mine.

Turns out, I'm better at this game than he is.

DYLAN

When my law enforcement career falls to pieces in front of my own eyes, I don’t know who I can trust.

I have nowhere to go. No one to turn to.

Asking Trav for help is a last resort, but I’m desperate.

If he can’t get me out of this mess, I may as well turn myself over to the guys hunting me down.

I’m not sure which will be more difficult: protecting my life or my heart.

Because when it comes to love, my heart wants what my brain doesn’t. It wants Travis West.

3.5 STARS
Trav finally manages to catch Dylan. This was action packed, interesting, sexy and funny.
But I don’t know how to explain it, I feel like there’s a spark missing. I love the team, the guys, the MCs, but there’s just something that’s making me not become like obsessed with them.
Narration 4/5

Not her best, but worth the read

This book lacks the character driven-elements that make IRIS so amazing. Basically, the guys are into each other. Almost all the obstacles come from the outside. I wish Eden had focused more on Dylan and Trav and less on the danger they were in.

That said, it's still an Eden Finley book, and I still completely adore Mike Bravo.

The narrators did a fantastic job, and I love seeing men I first heard narrate m/f stories include m/m in their catalogue.

Had to listen to the book too

I loved reading this book at first, but listening to it was even better. Tim Paige and Gomez Pugh bring Travis and Dylan to life. They are opposites attract who had one night. But have danced around each other for years. Trav will do anything and everything that he can to protect Dylan, no matter the cost. We see some of our favorite team members back and lots of explosions. It wouldn’t be Mike Bravo without them. I can’t wait for more from this series.

Rogue

This book was surprisingly good to me. I really enjoyed the first book in this series and wasn’t sure I would like Trav’s story but I did. I ended up loving both Trav’s and Dillon’s characters and it was great catching up on the other Mike Bravo employees. Can’t wait to listen to the next one.

I was waiting for Trav and Dylan story.

It was wonderful. I had waited to get it until it came out in Audible. The narration was ok but I had to keep slowing it down when Tim read his chapters. Though I did enjoy the way he read with the snark and bite of Trav. Trav and Dylan story was fun over all to listen to. How they met several years ago as a one and done then end up running into each other during a raid. The the bite between the two of them over the years was fun to follow. But you kind of always had a feeling there could always be more it would only take something traumatic to set them
off and oops one comes up of Dylan boss trying to kill him. Fun story.

The story itself!!

I love how the story flows and how there didn’t feel like there were any slow areas

One great narrator, one not great narrator

I love Eden Finley and the stories she writes. Most of the time the narrators she uses are spot on for the character POVs that they read for. Tim Paige is a good in his role as Trav. Gomez Pugh reads in slow motion and rather monotone. I think was trying to give a Mexican accent to Dylan, but nothing about the way he read did anything but make me not want to listen to this book. Iggy Toma would have been a far better Dylan imho.

Thankfully I own the book, so I can still enjoy Eden’s rich world building and lovable characters. It was awesome to get to see Trav being a goof if a domineering goof. His interactions with Dylan are utterly priceless, especially in the beginning.

I highly recommend the book, I’d pass on the audio.
