Publisher's Summary

Ever since that fateful night, he can't stop thinking about her. A timeless beauty in a nightclub, she moved across the dance floor like an angel, surrendering to the music-and casting a spell that could only be magic. When Phelan took her in his arms and kissed her, the Highlander knew this was no ordinary woman. This was a Druidess who could fulfill his every desire-or destroy him completely.

She is a mystery-a woman on the run, hunted by two different men. As much as she longs to be captured by the magnificent warrior Phelan, she knows she must resist the temptation. A vengeful evil is stalking her, watching her every move-a madman who will stop at nothing to possess her power. Once, she sold a piece of her soul for magic. Is she willing to risk Phelan's life, and give up her heart…for love?

Heck of a Twist.

Every book in this series has been a good story. This one, however, wouldn't let ne put it down. It scared me, made me angry, made me cry and still gave a good HEA.

Discrepancies?

Maybe I spaced during part of it, but I thought I detected some discrepancies in the storyline in this one?

Phelan and Ainsley

Phelan doesn't know that Ainsley is a drough. He can feel in magic and knows that she is a driud. Phelan feels her power differently because she is his mate. They travel to the Isle of Skye in order to find out how to get rid of the Selmer. More druids are found as well as an introduction to the fae and Rhi.
What happens when Phelan discovers that his Ainsley is a hated drough? Only one more book to go til the end of the warrior series. I am so excited!
The narrator did well on everything but the voice of Rhi, in my opinion. To my ear she sounded like Sandra Dee at the carnival in the movie Grease.
