I hate his voice it’s heard to listen to tbh
I wish it was more soothing or smooth

Meh...

Basically it’s the same as the other books all over again with some commentary by Edward. Just trying to keep Edward and Bella story “alive” a little longer.

Wrong Voice for narrator/Edward

They chose the wrong person to read- the voice is too flat, deep, rough, and angry sounding. It’s just...wrong. I couldn’t get past the first few chapters. I’m going to just read it on kindle instead.

Unbelievable Performance by Jake Abel

I read the Twilight books in my mid-20’s, so I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this book as a 40-year old. I enjoyed getting things from Edward’s perspective, definitely a more mature version of the story. But what really impressed me was the narrator. Jake Abel is one of the best narrators I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. Bravo!

A fan of all the books, I eagerly awaited this one. Way back when there was rumor that you were writing it, I could barely contain my excitement and knew that one day you would award us for our patience.
You did not disappoint!
I really enjoyed this book simply because it was Edward's POV. You gave us history and insight and a glimpse of the love and anguish Edward felt throughout.

I hate to say this, but just in case Ms Meyer happens to read this, I want more. I want to see and feel all the books from Edward's point of view. I know this more than likely will not happen but a girl can dream a little twilight dream.

Again, thank you giving this work to us, it was a wonderful ride.

Love it!

I sincerely hope the author does this again for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn (not so much New Moon for obvious reasons) this wonderful perspective gave me a fresh and somewhat unexpected insight into the world I love so much. Upon completion, I immediately googled if Meyer was going to revisit Edwards eyes... and she said no in such a final way that utterly crushed my hopes (but I can't help the sliver that lives on lol). I also enjoyed this passionate -if slightly overly angry performance. Abel has just made my short list of exceptional audio performers with this story. This book is a 10 out of 10 for me.

Everything needed.

It felt good to go back to Forks and experience the same feelings but from a different perspective. I loved it. Edwards mind is complicated and I was able to understand more about him and why he acted the way he did with Bella. I hope there will be more to come.

much more mature perspective

Even though this book came out years after the originals, I think the timing was great. The perspective matured with the original readers. Edward's mind was satisfyingly dark, mature and devoted. Loved the book!

A DIFFERENT VIEW!

Really loved experiencing the story from Edward's viewpoint! It added a deeper facet to a jewel of a tale!

narrator?

didn't like the narrator. he sounded much older than I was expecting his voice too sound. more like Jacob than Edward.
