I just found a new author!!!

This is my first book from this author and I was not sure what to expect but wow! This was a great story! You are instantly drawn to the main character and her struggles. There is action from the start. There is danger, mystery, intrigue and attraction. This was a great book and I cannot wait for the next installment!

A good story

Mi Familia is a good story and my first read by this author. The plot is well written, starts with a stressful scene with the circumstances of Franki as being pretty dire and depressing. As this is book 1 of 3 cliff hanger, I felt like this was a story that was just laying the ground work for book 2 and 3. I'm not a fan of cliff hangers but that seems to be the trend now so hopefully the next book will give the reader more information on the characters and plot line. I really think there is a lot more to Jack than we got with this book. If you are a fan of mafia romance I recommend giving this series a try.

As for the narrator, she sounded very robotic at times and I couldn't quite figure out what was up with that but overall she did a pretty good job with the narration.

Well written story, narration brought story to life. I can hardly wait for next book.

Original, Dark, Captivating!

This was my first KC Klein's book, and won't be my last. This is the first of three parts in the Married to the Mob Series, a Dark Mafia Romance. The story is told from Franki's POV. Jack and Franki's story is well written, and captivating. I like their unique relationship, and their humor. Franki is a beautiful and strong young woman. Jack is secretive, dark, handsome, and protective. The world building is well done. The storyline is original and intricate, filled with intrigue and mystery. Debbie Soelter has a beautiful voice, and she is perfect as Franki. She did a good job with the narration, and the audio quality is great. I enjoyed it, and I can't wait to listen to the part 2, to know what happens next. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Good story

I liked the story and can't wait to read the next one. Wish it was a different narrator though. She often sounds robotic with the way she speaks.

GOOD READ!

I enjoyed it! The narration was good and kept me entertained! The author did a good job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last. I look forward to reading the next book in this series! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great story!

The first part of the Mi Familia trilogy was a pretty engaging listen, it well-written and well-plotted. I enjoyed the premise and thought the characters were quite intriguing, in particular, Franki, she had grit. This was my first KC Klein book, and I was pleasantly surprised, the author did an incredible job depicting the culture.

Debbie Soelter portrayed the characters and their personalities. However, at times her reading was bit fast, making her sound monotone. Overall, this was an enjoyable listen. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
