I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a fast paced thriller.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Merry Christmas, Alex Cross?

My most memorable part of the story is where Alex is in pursuit of a female villain who has a phobia of dogs. I will say no more. Wouldn't want to ruin it for anyone.

Disappointed with ending

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

It was okay until the ending. I have enjoyed all of the other Cross books

Definitely made a stronger ending

The multiple narrator voices were terrific. I found that I enjoyed this more than I expected to.

What other book might you compare Merry Christmas, Alex Cross to and why?

It is difficult to compare this to other books beyond the Alex Cross series, and this does not dissapoint. The story moves at what feels like light speed, with twists and turns that make it incedibly difficult to put down the iPod.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

I really enjoyed the multiple voices.

I enjoyed and appreciated Tyler Perry as Alex Cross in the movie of the previous book. The performance was powerful enough that now Mr. Perry's face will forever be the face that I see when listening to or reading these stories. It was really enjoyable to have that image with me as I became emotionally invested in this story.

Story was too short and to predictable. Usually James Patterson's books have more plot twists and more to think about and interest you.

OK. Not Annoying.

Alex Cross is his usual intuitive detective, this time solving two crises when he'd rather be home for Christmas.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The snarky bad guy's voice from the first crisis is too close to the voice of another character in the second crisis

Yes..and additional sound effects were thrown in

There's always room for another fast-paced Alex Cross for an entertaining read. It's not a literary masterpiece, but it's entertaining

Terrific!! All three intertwined stories.

Alex Cross had to work through Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Poor guy, sad family, but he's a hero and a hero's job is always tough. The readers are wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed this "listen". Read/listen and you will also enjoy this book!

Excellent on all levels

Michael Boatman is an actor who doesn't 'just read' the words he is acting. Excellent job. Like that women in this audio book are read by women so you can distinguish each character easily. Great story. Fun to listen to on long car trip. Made miles zoom by! I will buy more audios read by Mr Boatman and Pattersons writing

Had not listened to any of the narrators before, but was familiar with one of the actors (Michael Boatmat) and was very thrilled with how well they read together.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The relationship between Alex and Sampson always makes me laugh.

Yes , I love Alex character and the plot very close to reality and human story ,easy listening book.

You can feel and experience the characters even the whether during the narrative!!
