Magick. The irrefutable truth. Real magick lies within all of us. Dormant. Waiting for the Bold of Soul. The Fearless of Spirit. Waiting to be unleashed again. Waiting for you. Are you ready?

Alessandria has learned things in the darkness: she would never be owned by anyone, keep your mouth shut and obey, and the lesson of retribution is a particularly nasty one. And never, ever tell anyone about the shadows.

Then...comes the light. When five intense and breathtaking guardians invade her home, she is thrust into an insane world of immortals, witches, warriors, gods, wars of will, and wings and swords.

And the Transition begins.

Rising from lost child to formidable warrior, Alessandria’s power escalates but so does her dance with danger...until she is forced to face the daunting truths. She has no idea who or what she is. Someone or something is playing sick games with her life. And...she is utterly addicted to a few of these sinfully irresistible creatures.

There’s also the small matter of the blood.

Agonizing sacrifices must be made and lives destroyed, but the time has come for her to embrace what she’s abhorred about herself for so long and confess all of her secrets. Alessandria must choose. But how could she ever allow anyone to know what truly lurks under her skin? Be owned? And would it even matter, since she is not the only one hiding things? Explosive things...that could obliterate more worlds than her own.

Join Alessandria in her wild, utterly sizzling excursion through life, love, and enlightenment. Tremble with her joy, torment, terror, and heat as you lose yourself in her new world. And along the way...you just might uncover the secret to true fulfillment in this scorching supernatural, paranormal romance! If you pay close attention, you will find it! Your Magick. It’s there...waiting. Are you ready?

Not my usual listen

I am a avid reader of fantasy. This was different and unique. Not for young readers. This book had more sex scenes than a racy romance novel. Well done but a lot. While it makes sense for the plot to a degree, it did seem a little excessive at times. I will consider purchasing the second one if it comes out. Narration is well done.

"Meridian Stone" is definantly a read for adults.

"Meridian Stone" is definitely for adults as it contains a plethora of detailed sex scenes. The overall story line is unique and very good. Although, the detail on interior design was unnecessary and at times tedious.
Overall I found it an enjoyable read.

I like it but….

I like it for a story and it was a nice read. But there is background noise of other people talking behind the narrator.

very steamy and full of twists

I really loved the character development and storyline. I had to mute the explicit sex scenes often when listening aloud. I can't wait until Audible releases #2. Considering the purchase of paper if it isn't released soon.

Might Have Been Great

Narrators either make or break a book. In this case it's the latter. The narrator read this in such a fast monotone , with such poor enunciation that I could not understand who the characters were or what they were saying. Adjusting the volume or trying headphones didn't help. I got to chapter 4, and still had no clue as to what this story was about. I even skipped ahead to see if there was any improvement with no luck. This may be a great book, but authors who want to release an audio version of their work should put as much though in selecting the right narrator as they did in creating the work itself. I don't typically rant about narration as once a narrator brings me into a story, adjusting to different presenting styles is not hard. However in my 10+ years as an Audible member, I've rarely come across something this poorly presented. I finally gave up the effort & returned the book.

Waste of time and money

The quality of the recording of this story was terrible, often hearing a echo in the recording, and volume changing chapter to chapter.
The story is dreary, and constantly repeating itself. The main character just looks at another male, and is instantly insanely in lust with them, in which the sex scenes are drawn out and repeating themselves. There is really not much story left without them.
I had reviewed the ratings before purchasing this book, but am deeply disappointed and do not understand where the 5 rating come from. This is the worst story I have ever downloaded.
