This is one of my favorites!

I love Rhia and her demure self but when she quits hiding her inner self, it's game over. She's ready to kick butt and take names like the rest of them. Mercury is one of my favorite characters, hes so complex. The council did him so wrong, but he is such a valiant and honest breed. These two are a perfect team.

mercury is so hot! what a great story and am now onto another in the series. happy days!

Mercury’s War

This book was hard to listen to because of Bronte’s voice she really read this one funny. For some reason her voice was irritating to me I don’t know why I didn’t notice it in other book......Now to the story this was a really good book there love was heart wrenching ( I cried). I recommend this one to anyone especially anyone who loves Breed books

Great story...less than adequate narration

Would you listen to Mercury's War again? Why?

No, I would not.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I was less than impressed with the narrator. The male 'voices' sounded as if they were grumpy old men rather than strong males in their prime which really struck a very discordant note throughout the book. She did a somewhat better job on the female voices.

Transfixed 😻

This is my second time after many years revisiting this book. And this time in audio, it’s the best experience. Ms. Leigh knows how to keep her lectors satisfied. The whole series is amazing 🤩

This book is excellent. Has all the excitement the Breeds books hold. Narrated very well by Brianna Bronte. I've already bought the next in the series. :)

Top ten, I've listened to this audio book several times.

What did you like best about this story?

How the relationship developed between Mercury and Rhea. I also like Jonas in this book.

What does Brianna Bronte bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She was o.k with the male voices, but I really like how she read Rhea.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Mercury finally broke through, also when Jonas talked to the Doctor after her breakdown.

Great Breeds book

Great Breeds book! I have enjoyed this whole series, and this is my favorite so far. A lot of strife and drama along with the usual breed heat. It begins following the formula of the rest of the series, but then veers off. We get to hear from the "beast within", which adds a really neat twist as it strives to mark Mercury's mate without letting Mercury or anyone else knowing that she is his mate.

When he realized that Ria was his mate.
