ecstatic reading

If you are looking for a fantastic story of fantasy and relationship building than you have arrived at your fabled destination. Alters creates characters that are as dynamic as they are interesting, and spins a world that just bleeds magic. The top quality narration from Simon Maeder is a comforting and fluid voice to the story. You'll find yourself sad he's not narrating everything in your life. 15/10 cannot recommend this book enough.

Fun. Amazing. Satisfying.

Fun story! Amazing characters! Satisfying narration. Plenty of action, romance, awkward fun fluff that will have you gasping, blushing and laughing. Can't wait for the next part.

Interested to see where it goes!

Good prose/great narrator. Interesting start but short. Feel like I need a bit more to really tell where this story is going. Characters get introduced that have little going for them at the moment, so you do need to trust that they will get their time later, that sort of thing. That said, maybe the character introductions themselves could have been stronger, give at least a more memorable impression to start off with? I like the main guy so far though.

The learning curve is a little sharp, lots of expository dialogue and worldbuidling up front in the dialogue. Wasnt a problem for me, but heads up.

There was a bit of a strange decision to skip past a scene near the end of the last episode, which seemes significant enough that it probably could have been it's own chapter. A bit odd.

I liked it so far though and I'm looking into reading/listening to more.
