Telepathy, or mind-reading: that is to say, can one human mind communicate with another human mind, except by the sense channels ordinarily known and used—seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting and touching?

Wasn’t it far fetched that Upton Sinclair would incorporate paranormal phenomena into his Lanny Budd historical fiction series? The history was so well researched, the characters so well realized. But come on, telepathy?!?!
Radio Mind is Upton Sinclair’s description of his personal experience with, and research into telepathy and other paranormal phenomena.
Without that specific question in mind, I would have found Radio Mind marginally engaging. The narration felt stiff and the writing nowhere near as fluid as the Lanny Budd writing.
Readers of Iain McGilchrist and Jill Bolte Taylor take note: Radio Mind possesses a hidden gem in Sinclair’s conjectures about a state of consciousness that is now an exciting topic of neuroscience research.
