The girl I met when we were nine is now the woman who said "yes" to being my wife.

But Josie's not planning our wedding; she's too consumed by things that happened over a century ago.

She has terrible dreams and unrelenting visions of the unspeakable. I believe her, but I don't understand her.

If I can't understand her, I can't stop her.

If I can't stop her, I can't save us.

And without us . . . well, I can't imagine that world.

Memories of a Life is a masterpiece, fill with waw and pure emotion. I was already in awe of Jewel E. Ann's writing after reading Pieces of a Life. But with this book, I must declare my love and utter amazement for her superb storytelling.

She made me feel the characters' feelings as if they were my own. I couldn't stop reading and found myself obsessing about the story even when it was harsh and gut-wrenching. The tears and the heart-stopping moments are worth it because this book gives Josie and Colton the most hard-fought and mesmerizing ending.

Top narration by Emery Erickson and Alastair Haynesbridge is everything I could have asked for. They truly brought Josie and Colton to life.

This duet is one of my favorites by Jewel E. Ann. So be prepared, because I'll recommend it for years to come.

Heart-wrenching duet!

this story is like none I've read before, and ive read a LOT of romance. Definitely not predictable. Well written to keep you listening, performance was really good too. Lots of heavy subjects but heartfelt and such a sweet romance for these two with all the snippets of their history growing up together. I thoroughly enjoyed this duet (absolutely have to read both in order cuz 1st one ends in a cliff hanger and 2nd one would make no sense). Ive read (or listened to) several books by this author and have like them all but this duet would be my 2nd favorite of her's. Jack and Jill series (1st 3 books) would be my 1st.

unique, interesting, and emotional romance

Another winner. This story (books 1 & 2) had me on pins & needles. There were so many WTF moments that I thought I was gonna have to be mad at JEA. And that's why I enjoy her writing, it's not at all cookie cutter, I know that she's gonna bring some type of emotion out of me. A true 'fictional' love story. Not a duet, but narration was still very good because both narrators performed well. Some spice, just enough, that it didn't take away from the basis of the story. I wanted to strangle both main characters at times, but I'm so pleased with how it wrapped up. Thanks JEA. This one's is in my favorites.

Absolutely Loved It 😍

This two book series is probably one of the most frustrating books. I have read. I wish I had not wasted my time. The concept was very different, but the series could have been completed in one book. It was so repetitive and the main characters or not likable, especially the female character. The narrators are terrific.

Great narrators
