Meanwhile, back in Deadwood...the mystery and mayhem continue.

Between the butchered body parts, creepy killers, dogged detectives, ghoulish ghosts, and ever-present television cameras, Violet Parker's purple boots are itching to skedaddle.

Another Solid Entry

Good entry with the tv show focusing on more of all of the ghosts in Deadwood. A lot of the background information becomes more important as the series continues. As always, I love the characters and the stories, but some of the sex is a little much. The narrator is great and helps keep the suspense and supernatural aspects strong.

Good but...

I usually love these books, but this one was so incredibly boring and hard to get into for the first 3/4 that I almost did not finish it. Seriously, I the whole thing could have been five-ten chapters. Seemed like this was just a broken out pie've fluffed up with nonsense for the sake of making money. Disappointed. If if the next one has the same stunt, I won't read another.

Deadwood mysteries continue

Doc and Violet are back with many of our favorite characters? Will Doc and Violet say I Do? Will Violet and Cooper learn to get along? Will Harvey get some tail? Will Lane and Doc work out their differences?

Violet becomes a Grim.

If you could sum up Meanwhile, Back in Deadwood in three words, what would they be?

Funny. Enjoyable. Cliffhanger.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Meanwhile, Back in Deadwood?

I love a good Halloween costume party.

What does Caroline Shaffer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She is good, no complaints.

Any additional comments?

There is an ongoing story line about something supernatural going on in Deadwood. After 6 books we still don't know exactly what it is. The stories are good and the characters are a lot of fun.
