Great Storyline!

Action, true love and hot fighter's. Who could ask for more? Love these could be stand alone or read as a series.

This book totally rocked my world... I fell in love with the entire story and just adored Mason and Clair... Full of Nail biting Action, Burning Hot sex/love Scenes and loads of Heart pounding moments, you will full in love with this book toooo... Jodie Bentley done a perfect job Narrating and i got goose bumps every time I herd Mason's voice.. YUMMY

The book starts out and I was hooked straight away. We meet Mason a cop who was a MMA fighter and gave it all up. We also meet Claire who has a boyfriend and seems quite happy. In walks Mason and he turns her world upside down all over again. They previously hooked up for a one night stand and then he leaves and it crushes Claire. The story progresses and you are left asking if Claire will actually take Mason back and if she will let him back into her heart.

What I liked - a HEA, a fantastic story-line, a strong female lead, a sexy hot male lead, some great support characters, and a standalone book. This book is definitely worth 5 + stars and it was a total page turner for me... I thoroughly recommend it to those who like a good fight book with an awesome story line. :)

Mason and Claire had a lot to catch-up on

Claire thought she finally had the one man that she loved in the bag after one incredible night to passion. But that all changed when he walked away from her and didn't look back for over six months. Six months no calls, text, email and he walks back in to her life and she has a surprise for him. This was a second chance that brought danger, intensity, passion and understanding.

Jodie did a good job on this read and it was clean, clear, and easily adjustable to the varying speed.

A Little Dissapointed

After reading all the reviews, I couldn't wait to to listen to this book. The beginning started out amazing and then 1/4 of the way into it, fell flat. They got together too quickly and the rest was pretty much them having sex and trying to figure out who the killer was. It was too much of a "suspense" book for me than a romance. The story wasn't even suspenseful....they pretty much knew who it was from the beginning. The writing was done well and the story flowed properly. It just wasn't the story I was expecting.

Jodie Bentley was OK with the delivery of the story.

SO EXCITING I DIDN'T WANT TO HIT THE PAUSE BUTTON

Months after Mason had an earth shattering one night stand with Claire then he walked away the handsome, sexy, drool-worthy cop is about to go deep undercover and it's dangerous so he want's to come clean about his feelings towards Claire. But Claire is trying to finally move on..... until she gets his heartfelt letter.

As the story unfolds there's lots of pulse-pounding action, drama, thrills, danger, fighting, sex, a villain or two, sweet tender scenes and raw passionate ones and, as this well-written and well narrated story developed, I was held captive as I could easily visualise each scene as it played out until the final climactic and dramatic end.

Worth a credit? Oh YEAH thank you L P Dover for Second Chances... and 10 stars for whoever did the sexy cover too.
