Publisher's Summary

Stan is in prison, convicted of a crime he swears he didn’t commit and desperate to prove his innocence. And girlfriend Billie is determined to help him. Kelly, his victim, is struggling to cope after a horrific ordeal that left her traumatised and lonely. For Billie, who has her own secrets and demons in her past, enlisting a private detective to look for vital evidence that might set Stan free is a way out of this nightmare.

Billie has complete faith in Stan, but when she hears Kelly’s version of events, cracks begin to appear and her faith wavers. There are two sides to every story and Billie needs to get to the truth, but the deeper she digs, more lies are unearthed. Who will she believe? And who is really telling the truth?

Don’t believe it....

No way. I do not believe this happens but good job giving rapists more legal defenses than they already have. My gut tells me there’s an agenda here. Talk about painting women as conniving , vindictive and Machiavellian. Misogynistic, imo

Cherry liquor

If you like cherry liquor then be prepared to think of it as blood after listening to this! Referenced several times! Can authors please find something other than ‘the world tilts on its axis’ irs so cliche!
Oh and making out a rape victim has a personality disorder. Enough said!

Just WOW!!

I absolutely LOVED this book and could quite easily have done nothing else except listen to it in one sitting!
Very well narrated with believable characters
A lot of books start of full of welly but either run out of steam halfway through or come to the end with a lot to tie up in a short space of time. With #METOO, this was SO not the case - it kept me hooked to the very end.

Good Listen

Enjoyed this book, it was an eye opener as it was based on true events, and just goes to show what people will do to get revenge.

Good narration and characters and all the way through I was hoping it would all end up good in the end.

Worth a listen
