Publisher's summary

This is a story of dreaming big and working hard, of spectacular success and breathtaking failure, of shouted questions, and, at long last, whispered answers. With trademark wit and heart, Phil Vischer shares how God can use the death of a dream to point us toward true success.

Larry. Bob. Archibald. These VeggieTales stars are the most famous vegetables you'll ever eat. Oops, meet. Their antics are known around the world. But so much of the VeggieTales story hasn't been told. In Me, Myself, and Bob, Phil Vischer, founder of Big Idea and creator of VeggieTales, gives a behind-the-scenes look at his not-so-funny journey with the loveable veggies. From famed creator to bankrupt dreamer, Vischer shares his story of trial and ultimate triumph as God inspired him with one big idea after another.

Absolutely loved this book!

Listen to this story! It’s excellent! Our whole family (ages 9-46) enjoyed it and learned from it.

Humility Wins

A grand, good dream is put into perspective through Vischer’s creative journey with Bob and Larry. His transparency about his struggles is evidence that humility, rather than creative genius, (although that’s true, too) is his most defining quality.

Best business book ever!

I am a serial entrepreneur, and have been in business for over 38 years. This is the best business book I have ever read. It's very entertaining, very funny, but it's also emotionally gripping. I highly recommend it. Five stars! Mike Kappel

Interesting, moving, and inspiring

I’ve listened to this book twice now. The story resonated with me so much that I feel like I may understand God a little more now. I’ve been meditating on the verse James 1:2 “…consider it joy when you face trials of many kinds…” and this story helps me work through this idea with a great example. Great read!

Compelling and Inspiring

I loved this book. It is a can’t put down kind of story (can’t stop listening), but also inspiring and profound. I was intrigued by the story and moved by the message.

An Eye Opening Read

After seeing a video about Veggie Tales’ creation, I decided to buy this. Not only was Phil a good narrator, he spoke of how he wanted to use his talents to spread God’s message. Phil’s story is a tale of persistence, an Icarus analogy, & a lesson in balancing entertainment with enlightenment in faith based family programming. Highly duggested not only for fans of his work, but for creative entrepreneurs.

Who Knew

If you can get past the quirky personality of the author, you will discover one of the best real life business lessons available. Love the story of perseverance, not his circular logic of the reasons why. Overall, felt myself cheering for him. A man of true conversations to God.
