Publisher's Summary

May Day at the castle!

A beautiful but mysterious woman arrives in the castle courtyard one night as the baron's replacement to Lord Ricard Wellington's betrothed. With eyes like emeralds and a smile that could melt even a hardened warrior's heart, Lady Flora Debenham quickly captures Ricard's interest. However, she is feisty as well as disobedient and keeps sneaking out of the castle walls. The woods are dangerous and filled with druids, who he believes have killed his parents. Fearing for her safety, he follows her, hoping to learn her secrets.

The druidess

Lady Flora takes her cousin's place as the handsome Lord Ricard's betrothed, but it is naught more than a ploy to get close to the druids who are hiding nearby. Her dying mother reveals to her that her father was a druid and that she was conceived at the festival of Beltane. The woman's last wish was for Flora to find her father and return a sacred icon to him.

The knight

What starts out as nothing but a means to an end turns into an attraction to a man Flora never intended to marry. Ricard treats her like a queen, and she starts to fall in love. The only wedge between them is that he has vowed to hunt down and kill the same people she is trying to protect.

Will vengeance prevent the seeds of love from blooming?

Good Read

May Queen: May Day (Holiday Knights #3) was a good read by Elizabeth Rose. Lady Flora Debenham comes to the courtyard with her uncle, the Baron, to replace the bride for Lord Ricard Wellington. He was supposed to marry her cousin Lady Gretta, but he finds out she's pregnant by another. Lord Wellington wants to impress the Baron and the King. I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

can love overcome hate for druids

lord Ricard is expecting one women and instead in comes Lady Flora to be his betrothed . She is not a kind of women he wants or needs, she doesn't listen or do anything he says. when he learns the truth that she is hiding is there a chance that his love that he has started to feel for her be enough, strong characters and a great story, You never know where the story is going or what will happen next, love this layout, listen to this in one setting, and enjoyed it very much

Family lies lead to love

Betrothal gone wrong and miss information about the Druid's certainly make for a complicated romance. Some interesting historical information mixed in with some humorous misinformation to liven things up.

Very good story

Very good story. I finished it in a day. But Flora was a bit annoying, deceitful and stubborn till the very end. But in the last 2 chapters she was very sweet then. This was the last of the series Holiday Knights. Kevin Green was brilliant as always. Love his narrating.
This was the last book of all Elizabeth Rose's books for now until Aaron comes out in May, which is the last book of the series Pirate Lords, can't wait to listen to that.
I have been listening to all of Elizabeth Rose's books in the past 2 months and loved every one of them. I will definitely be purchasing all her books in the future. Thank you Elizabeth Rose.

May Queen

Such a lovely tale about the Lord of the Manor and a young Lady whose Mother had died and she found that her Father was a Druid. The Lord hated Druids as they killed his parents and he planned to kill them all.
The narration of this book was excellent. It was the last book of the series and finished the series wonderfully. Thank you Miss Rose for writing this book.
