My ears still haven't recovered

Sadly, this might be a good series but I will never know! The narrator is the worst I have ever heard. Awful. Ruined the entire story.

God Awful Narration

AWFUL NARRATION.
It was like listening to Forrest Gump reading to 1st graders. The characters were supposed to be strong, tough, confident operators, the narrator made them sound disabled.
This could have been a good story but the narration was distracting. I'm a Jack Mars fan but I won't be continuing with this series.

Like Listening to a Glitched Audiobook Demo

The story itself was so-so, but the narration was absolutely horrid. Even worse, the audio would literally repeat lines every once in a while, as if no one bothered to edit or quality-check the recording. That kind of production issue yanks you right out of the story and makes the whole thing feel cheap and sloppy. I would ask for my money back, but thankfully I only paid a sale price. I will not be finishing the rest of the series, and I will absolutely avoid this narrator going forward.

Narration was terrible. Story was just ok. Very autopilot. Unknown if series is worth continuing.

Just bad!

I have been a fan of Jack Mars for a long while. From the first page to the last this was just bad. Bad writing, bad plot, bad characters, and terrible narration. Please take my advice and take a hard pass on this one.
