Has table of contents!
It seems to be updated because my audio book has each book of the bible with it's corresponding chapters; it is very easy to select a specific chapter of the Bible. At the beginning of most chapters it has a chapter outline in audio. The narrator also does a very good job reading this commentary. I am looking forward to purchasing volume 2. The full version of this commentary would also be an interesting listen.

Would like to give it 5 stars
I will be glad to do another review and give this 5 stars but I need a better table of contents so I can know where the books of the bible begins. Someone else placed this same complete on volume 2 and it was responded to well with a location table where the books begin in the new testament. Please fix this issue and let me give it a glowing review as I love Matthew Henry.

Amazing!
I'm not a fan of the concise commentary just be cause it's so overly concise, but this is so well done. Very well narrated. Very well formatted: each chapter has it's own track. The audible player needs help, but whoever did this had an attention for detail and every track is correct. I don't think a better job could have been done on this. It would be nice if Audible had better support for these type of projects. Thanks!

This does not have the text of the bible in it.
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
My biggest problem is that it does not read the text of the bible then give Matthew Henry's commentary (concise edition) on that section.
I have read all of Matthew Henry's commentary on the whole bible (original/whole edition) before. And I was sorta looking forward to this shorter edition but because they didn't read the text of the scripture before reading the commentary it just fill like something, something important, is missing from the whole work.
I think the reason I'm so sad by this is this could of been such a helpful work for Christians. The bible with helpful short commentary as you read through. But because of the editor choices the whole work is, in my opinion, useless.
Would you recommend Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary on the Whole Bible, Vol. 1 to your friends? Why or why not?
No.
