Heartfelt and sincere

You kinda forget it’s Beyoncé’s mom. She tells her stories so detailed and beautifully. Definitely cried during a few chapters especially when talking about her parents (reminds me so much of my childhood). This woman has lived many lives and has gone through much more than I could have ever imagined. A must read!

Keep your tissue handy!!!!!!

So… I knew Ms. Tina had roots in Louisiana but listening to her, it’s deep in her voice. Made this lil Louisiana girl smile. From childhood trauma to life after divorce it’s all there. It’s heartfelt and whitty. And she cusses too (y’all know I love a good curse word or two). Definitely a must read or listen. Whichever floats your boat. Just make sure to add it to your library.
