Publisher's Summary

A tornado chaser with a battered heart. The devastated country boy she left behind. Can they weather a storm of second chances, or will their past destroy them?

Lauren Reynolds needs the adrenaline rush that chasing tornadoes brings. Since the death of her parents four years ago, storms are the only time she feels alive. Now she’s determined to land a roving weather reporter job in Tornado Alley, and she’ll do anything for the position - even return home to Oklahoma and face the country boy she left behind.

Meteorology professor Tanner Erickson is totally over Lauren - at least, he thought he was until he moved back to Sunset Plains. Memories of his high school sweetheart haunt him around every corner. Even after four years, he can’t forgive her self-destructive penchant for chasing funnel clouds, or the way she dumped him in a letter and then disappeared.

When a funeral brings Lauren and Tanner face-to-face again, the chemistry between them is as potent as ever. As they cautiously pick up the broken pieces of their old relationship, another deadly tornado forms in Sunset Plains. And Lauren needs Tanner’s equipment to chase it. Can they weather past hurts to claim a future together, or will it be swallowed by the storm?

Great storyline

I originally read Twisters and Textbooks and the author re-did the book to go with the Match series. I enjoyed this storyline and how it tied in Jace and Cassidy. It’s a sweet romance and I’d listen again.

Second Chance to Love

This is the book 10 in the No Match for Love Series. Lauren and Tanner's second chance to love story is beautifully written. Tiffany Williams did a great job with the narration.

Second Chance for Love

Everyone grieves differently. When Lauren's parents were killed in a tornado, she decides the best way to feel close to them is to become a storm chaser. Her boyfriend at the time, Tanner, wants to keep her safe and that makes her feel smothered. She changes their plans to go to college together and leaves town on her own. Four years later, Lauren has a job with a TV station close to her hometown. Unknown to her, Tanner has come back to town as a meteorology professor. They run into each other at a funeral and feeling they both thought were gone come back. Will Tanner forgive Lauren? Will Lauren see that putting herself in danger isn't the answer? I enjoyed this book and learned a few things I didn't know about storm chasing.

Unexpected

I really enjoyed this book which was unexpected as it is not my typical listen. The storyline was romantic with a bit of adventure. The narrator was wonderful as well. I loved this book so much I bought the other books in the series.

Somewhat Stormy Plot

Overall, it was an enjoyable audiobook. I think the narrator did a very professional job. she was consistent with the different voices she used for each character and was overall easy to listen to. In my opinion, the story line, although enjoyable, could be summed up in 3 sentences and the conflict/resolution were not very realistic. Those readers living in Tornado Alley may find a greater connection to the plot.

Match Me in a Tornado

Lindzee Armstrong has written another incredible story. I love the premise of Match Me Again rekindling old loves in tornado alley. This book is a standalone listen and part of a series. The story features Lauren and Tanner and the storm they encounter. Both are interested in meteorology, but from different views. She is looking to get closer to her dead parents, while he is a teacher. I love how this couple realizes what is truly important and before their eyes. Tiffany Williams is perfect bringing theses characters to life. One can feel their emotions. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will most definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Another great, clean romance by Armstrong!

I listened to the audio version of this book.
I really enjoyed Lauren and Tanner's story. It is a second chance trope, which is one of my favorites.
Ms. Armstrong really did a good job of expressing why things fell apart for the couple the first time and made it seem believable and justifiable. I loved the weather and storm chasing aspect of the book. Ms. Armstrong also did a great job with the description. It may have been unlikely that Lauren survive two direct hits by tornados, but you can't exactly kill off your main character.
I loved Tanner. His thinking about the relationship was understandable, but his moment of clarity was touching. They really had a great love for each other. Another good, clean romance by Lindzee Amstrong!
The narration by Tiffany Williams was very good--kudos to her for getting the screaming parts across without actually screaming in my ears!
I was given a complimentary copy of this audio book. All thoughts are my own.

Match Me Again: No Match for Love

This was a clean, second chance romance.

I really enjoyed this book. It was relatively drama free, other than the personal drama the couple had between themselves. Lauren & Tanner were high school sweet hearts set to go on to college together until Lauren’s parents were killed in a tornado accident. All of a sudden Lauren - being the emotional (naive) 18 year old she was - needed to get out of town and as far away from her real life as possible instead of dealing with her grief head on. Because Tanner wasn’t thinking along the same lines as her she took off by herself to get her degree and become a tornado chaser. 4 years later they are both in the same town and although Tanner is still in live with her he won’t put himself through watching her walk into danger over and over again because she thinks she can somehow find or feel her parents in every dangerous tornado situation she is in. The story and the audio were both really great. Would love to read/listen to the other books in the series.

A good listen

It was a good book. It was fun to read a story where the woman had the dangerous job, and the man was the one left to worry.

The ending was better than I had hoped, so that was a nice bonus.

The narration was excellent, clear and easy to understand at all times. It was good enough to allow me to forget that I was listening to a book, rather than reading it!
