pretty great book

a great sequel. the magic system is creative and the characters are great.
our lovable goth is there to liven things up.
healthy bit of spice and action to put it all together

Yeah, I recommend it

When it comes to a sequel, I am basically looking for everything that made the last book worth it and then some. In my opinion this entry into the story reaches that bar. At the ending of the last book, we had what appeared to be a tenuous agreement between the villain and our main character. This book started off kind of soft like. The characters appear to sort of want to just live their lives now that they have found each other, but obviously that's not going to happen. Along the way our main character settles up with the villain introduced in the last book. We have a couple of new additions to the group. Many more Omni’s running around, and Joe average is not happy. The story kind of ends with a soft Cliffhanger sort of. It’s fine but I won’t say more as I do not want to risk spoiling anything for anyone. It definitely leaves me interested in what comes next. I do not want to end this review without singling out the performance by the narrator who in my opinion did a fantastic job. Lastly, I will simply say well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the audiobook listeners.

Fun time all around. More of the same great characters, some surprises and great narration. This is an easy recommendation.

Really great story

Well this follow up really took off. A couple surprises, sorry no spoilers. If you liked the 1st book you’ll love this one. A lot of building and explanation. Definitely one of the best series out right now. The narrator did an amazing job.

A magical trip

I enjoyed the first book a lot and honestly wondered where the second book would go with the story so I’m happy to see the second book come out and actually keep the series going and in a good direction that kept me entertained from start to end with the narrators doing another amazing job I’m looking forward to what is to come in book 3

Great characters and great vibes

Who doesn't love a snarky goth girl? There's a great cast of characters in this series and the book had many hilarious moments. Some decent twists in the plot too.

Savannah Thomas delivers and makes the characters memorable.

I've been waiting a while for this book to drop. I'm a greedy reader so yes, 6 months is an eternity for me, Don't judge me since you're here to find out if this is a book that you too can voraciously devour. Ha! You didn't think I'd call you out on it did you? The answer is YES, this is a book you can drop a credit on and thoroughly enjoy. The narration is top notch (she even does really good male voices). The story is engaging, the relationships/love interests are organic and the spicy scenes are just that, SPICY! The interaction between characters is where Kirk Mason excels and is probably this book's strongest feature. You can really feel the anger, mistrust, jealousy, love, dedication and devotion from all the characters. There are more feelings that those but I'm tired of typing.

Spend the credit and enjoy the audiobook. If I didn't get a free code for this audiobook, I would have spent my own credit on it and would have posted the same review. Here is one more point in this book's favor. When book 3 comes out I will be doing a reread and binge read of all 3 books. You should join me.

Better than the first!

This was just great.. I absolutely love their relationship. This was fun, and crazy, and spicy as hell. Truly hope we get book 3!
