Publisher's Summary

Mary Rose Martin is desperate. With seven younger sisters all happily married, her wealthy Virginia family is starting to give up on her, and she faces the dismal fate of being an old maid. Her only choice is to marry Thorton Ellis, 30 years her senior - and completely odious. Mary Rose can’t face the prospect of spending her life with him. Instead, she flees, and gets on the first train West.

Jesse Owens, a cattle rancher from Fielder’s Union, Arkansas, loves the beautiful landscapes and the life he’s built. Yet there’s something missing, and that’s why he’s waiting for his Mail Order Bride. She’s to arrive any day now, and his anticipation is high.

When Mary Rose finds herself in Fielder’s Union, she’s once again out of options. Only this time, a kindly rancher steals her heart. She’ll do anything to get Jesse - even if it means pretending to be someone she’s not....

Another great one!

Oh I love this writer! Her stories are so wonderful, I only wish they were longer!
