Sweet tale.

This was a quirky,funny sweet love story. It had just enough spice. I throughly enjoyed it.

I really liked this book

I enjoyed this book a lot, I probably would have kept reading the series. But the whole point of aliens for me is being on ships and different planets so the second book being on earth kind of kills it for me. I imagine they get off earth at some point but meh.

awesome book and storyline!

This isn't just some random smut there's a good story and main characters who's actions make sense.

Way better than the title suggests

This was a very fun and comical story. I initially cringed at the title, but decided to embrace it and was not disappointed.

I liked the premise but the tentacle scenes were a bit over the top. there was plenty of scope to make this a wonderful story. I'm in two minds if to get the next book.

I loved the characters and the story. It was funny, sexy and romantic. I am waiting for Ken’s HEA!

Better than it had any right to be

I'm floored. I never expected this to be so good. I'm not kidding with those 5 stars.

The FMC is strong, not stupid, and makes the best of a bonkers situation.
The alien that adopts her thinks she's the cutest thing in the world and is big time embarrassed when he finds out she's not a pet. I loved the FMC and all the characters were lovable. I literally laughed out loud. The aliens are just genuinely good guys and the MMC is a giant tentacle having cinnamon roll. Also, it has a nuanced understanding of sex and gender AND a plus size FMC!

I'm new to alien romance and it was a perfect, hilarious introduction.

Excellent performance. It was easy to tell who was speaking and the FMC never sounded whiny or annoying.

Breeding kink! It does end in pregnancy, but for a hilarious reason.

had potential

I started this intrigued. it had potential to be very spicy and sweet. but it seemed rushed at the end. and I didn't like the pregnancy stuff. She wanted to terminate, but just changed her mind. what's done is done, but it could've been done better. the male narrator is very very good, and the female one is okay too.

I have to say that this story was nothing like what I expected.

It was funny, and heartfelt and at the same time I was unbelievably surpised at how much we take for granted.

I have to say that Mandy changed everything and in the end created just what we all want - family and love!!!!

I'm conflicted but still recommend it

So my expectations were more of the 'Tempted by Tentacles' erotica type story (highly recommend that ebook for those interested). This book is not erotica at all and what sex is in it is very brief in both length and description. Plus it isn't so much a romance either. There is a lot of world building which is great, but again, it sort of overshadowed the relationship part.

Honestly, my favorite characters aren't even the main couple. Mandy and Seven were both too stupid to live, which is unironically stated by Baht. In fact, I love Baht and I'm thrilled to know his book (3rd in series) is available on Kindle.

I think the series has potential and at a minimum I'm going to read Baht's story. The universe Bebe Harper created is unique and while there is a lot of borrowing from other popular sci-fi, it isn't a carbon copy. I do recommend this book, but just go in knowing it is more of a foundation storyline than a romance.
