This book has a good view of the Alamo. I saw a different angle. I liked Mando's determination. After the Alamo Mando experiments with the Texas Rangers a little bit. His sister is marring a Texas Ranger. Than he does a cattle drive. All to save there land. I enjoyed this story line. Maynard Villers does a good job narrating this book.
